Abstract

A lid, which may be sized and configured to be attached to a container, may include a first opening and a second opening. The first opening may be at least partially defined by a first wall outwardly extending from an upper surface of the lid and the second opening may be at least partially defined by a second wall outwardly extending from the upper surface of the lid. A common wall may separate and at least partially define the first opening and the second opening. If desired, the first opening may be disposed within the spout and the first opening may provide a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in a first portion of a container. The second opening may also be disposed within the spout and the second opening may provide a second fluid pathway to the fluid disposed in a second portion of the container.

further comprising an upper lip receiving portion in an upper portion of the first wall, the upper lip receiving portion sized and configured to receive an upper lip of a user consuming a fluid flowing through the second opening of the lid.

10. A lid sized and configured to be attached to a container, the container sized and configured to be filled with a fluid, the lid comprising:

a body;

a spout extending from an upper surface of the body, the spout at least partially defined by an outer wall;

a first opening disposed within the spout, the first opening providing a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in a first portion of a container;

a second opening disposed within the spout, wherein:

the outer wall extends vertically to a distal end that forms a rim that surrounds the first and second openings;

the rim is defined by a top surface; and

a portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the first opening slopes upwardly toward the second opening; and

a conduit coupled to the second opening, the conduit extending from the second opening to a second portion of the container, the conduit and the second opening providing a second fluid pathway to the fluid disposed in the second portion of the container.

11. The lid as in claim 10 , wherein the portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the first opening and slopes upwardly toward the second opening is contiguous with a portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the second opening, the portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the second opening meeting the portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the first opening at a common height above the body.

12. The lid as in claim 11 , wherein the top surface of the rim slopes downwardly from a rear of the first opening to a location between the rear and a front of the first opening before sloping upwardly toward the second opening.

13. The lid as in claim 10 , wherein the top surface of the rim that surrounds the first opening is contiguous with a portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the second opening, the portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the second opening meeting the portion of the top surface of the rim that surrounds the first opening at a common height above the body.
