Abstract

By using a method for coordination between base stations, one base station allocates a resource to user equipment in a better manner with reference to resource configuration information saved in the base station and resource configuration information of another base station. The method provided in the embodiments of the present invention includes: acquiring, by a first base station, resource configuration information of a first cell, where the first cell is a cell served by the first base station; receiving resource configuration information of a second cell sent by a second base station, where the second cell is a cell served by the second base station; and allocating a resource to user equipment according to the resource configuration information of the first cell and the resource configuration information of the second cell, so that the user equipment communicates with the first cell and the second cell.

Claims (61)

1. A method, comprising:

obtaining, by a first base station, first uplink power control common configuration information of a first cell, wherein the first cell is a cell served by the first base station;

receiving, by the first base station, second uplink power control common configuration information of a second cell sent from a second base station, wherein the second cell is a cell served by the second base station;

sending, by the first base station, the first uplink power control common configuration information of the first cell and the second uplink power control common configuration information of the second cell to a terminal; and

receiving, by the first base station, power headroom report (PHR) information from the terminal.

2. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

allocating, by the first base station, an uplink resource to the terminal according to the PHR information.

3. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, by the first base station, maximum allowable transmit power of the second cell from the second base station.

4. The method according to claim 3 , further comprising:

allocating, by the first base station, the uplink resource to the terminal according to the PHR information and the maximum allowable transmit power of the second cell.

5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the PHR information comprises at least one of:

power headroom of the first cell; and

power headroom of the second cell.

6. An apparatus comprising:

at least one processor configured to:

obtain first uplink power control common configuration information of a first cell, wherein the first cell is a cell served by a first base station;

receive second uplink power control common configuration information of a second cell from a second base station, wherein the second cell is a cell served by the second base station,

send the first uplink power control common configuration information of the first cell and the second uplink power control common configuration information of the second cell to a terminal, and

receive a power headroom report (PHR) information from the terminal; and

a memory coupled to the at least one processor.

7. The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:

allocate an uplink resource to the terminal according to the PHR information.

8. The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:

receive maximum allowable transmit power of the second cell from the second base station.

9. The apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:

allocate the uplink resource to the terminal according to the PHR information and the maximum allowable transmit power of the second cell.

10. The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the PHR information comprises at least one of:

power headroom of the first cell; and

power headroom of the second cell.

11. The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the apparatus is part of the first base station.

12. An apparatus comprising:

at least one processor configured to:

receive first uplink power control common configuration information of a first cell and second uplink power control common configuration information of a second cell from a first base station, the first cell being a cell served by the first base station, the second cell being a cell served by a second base station,

acquire power headroom report (PHR) information according to the first and the second uplink power control common configuration information, and

send the PHR information to the first base station; and

a memory coupled to the at least one processor.

13. The apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the PHR information comprises at least one of:

power headroom of the first cell; and

power headroom of the second cell.

14. The apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the power headroom comprises at least one of:

type 1 power headroom; and

type 2 power headroom.

15. The apparatus according to claim 14 , wherein:

the type 1 power headroom is obtained by physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmit power subtracted from maximum transmit power (PCMAX, c); or

the type 2 power headroom is obtained by both PUSCH transmit power and physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmit power subtracted from PCMAX,c.

16. The apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to configure the PCMAX, c in a primary cell (PCell) or a serving cell in an activated state.

17. The apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein:

in a coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission technology, both of the first cell and the second cell are transmission points of the apparatus; or

in a carrier aggregation (CA) technology, both of the first cell and the second cell are serving cells of the apparatus; or

in a dual connectivity (DC) technology, the first cell is a primary cell (PCell) and the second cell is a primary secondary cell (PSCell).

18. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions, that when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:

receive first uplink power control common configuration information of a first cell and second uplink power control common configuration information of a second cell from a first base station, the first cell being a cell served by the first base station, the second cell being a cell served by a second base station;

acquire power headroom report (PHR) information according to the first and the second uplink power control common configuration information; and
