Abstract

A system for test administration including a memory, a processor and a biometric reading unit with a program in the memory executing the steps of receiving measurements from the biometric reading unit, the measurements being other than video and audio, identifying suspect behavior from the measurements, displaying a video feed from the testing station in response to the identification of the suspect behavior.

Claims (9)

1. A system for test administration including a memory in communication with a processor and a biometric reading unit with a program in the memory executing the steps of:

receiving measurements from the biometric reading unit at a first rate;

identifying at least one biometric vector in the biometric measurements, wherein the biometric vector indicating a behavior characteristic indicative of cheating occurring on a test being taken at a testing station;

communicating the identified biometric vector to a centralized monitoring station for compiling with a plurality of identified biometric vectors acquired from a plurality of different users;

receiving an reference biometric vector from a central monitoring station;

comparing the identified biometric vector with the reference biometric vector and determine a recognition weight;

grouping the identified biometric vector into one or more polling clusters based on the recognition weight and one or more recognition thresholds and monitoring the user at the testing station based on feature vectors associated with the one or more polling clusters;

recording a video feed from the testing station in response to the identified biometric vector matching the reference biometric vector; and

transmitting the video feed to the central monitoring station for review.
