Abstract

Disclosed are a method and a device for allocating wireless resources for transmitting or receiving data in a wireless LAN. The method for allocating the wireless resources in the wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: allocating, by an access point (AP), each of the plurality of wireless resources for each of a plurality of stations (STAs) over the entire bandwidth; and transmitting, by the AP, a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) to each of the plurality of STAs through each of the plurality of wireless resources, wherein each of the plurality of wireless resources can be a combination of a plurality of wireless resource units defined as having different sizes from each other on a frequency axis.

Claims (17)

1. A method for allocation wireless resources in a wireless LAN, comprising:

allocating, by an access point (AP), a plurality of resource units for a plurality of stations (STAs) within an entire bandwidth which is 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, or 160 MHz, wherein the plurality of resource unit are allocated based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA); and

transmitting, by the AP, a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) through the plurality of resource units to the plurality of STAs, wherein, among the plurality of resource units, a small tone unit is set to correspond to 26 tones within a frequency axis and a basic tone unit is set to correspond to a number of tones being larger than 26 tones within the frequency axis,

wherein allocation location of the plurality of resource unit is indicated by a signal field that is included in a PPDU header of the PPDU.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the small tone unit has 2 tones corresponding to pilot tones and the remaining 24 tones corresponding to data tones.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the basic tone unit corresponds to 242 tones within the frequency axis.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of resource units are allocated within the entire bandwidth by considering a left guard tone, a right guard tone, and a direct current tone, wherein the left guard tone corresponds to 6 tones within the frequency axis, the right guard tone corresponds to 5 tones within the frequency axis, and the direct current tone corresponds to 3 tones within the frequency axis.

5. An access point (AP) allocating wireless resources in a wireless LAN, comprising:

a radio frequency (RF) unit transmitting and/or receiving radio signals; and

a processor being operatively connected to the RF unit,

wherein the processor is configured:

to allocate a plurality resource units for a plurality of stations (STAs) within an entire bandwidth which is 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, or 160 MHz, wherein the plurality of resource unit are allocated based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), and

to transmit a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) through the plurality of resource units to the plurality of STAs, wherein, among the plurality of resource units, a small tone unit is set to correspond to 26 tones within a frequency axis and a basic tone unit is set to correspond to a number of tones being larger than 26 tones within the frequency axis,

wherein allocation location of the plurality of resource unit is indicated by a signal field that is included in a PPDU header of the PPDU.

6. The AP of claim 5 , wherein the small tone unit has 2 tones corresponding to pilot tones and the remaining 24 tones corresponding to data tones.

7. The AP of claim 5 , wherein the basic tone unit corresponds to 242 tones within the frequency axis.

8. The AP of claim 5 , wherein the plurality of resource units are allocated within the entire bandwidth by considering a left guard tone, a right guard tone, and a direct current tone, wherein the left guard tone corresponds to 6 tones within the frequency axis, the right guard tone corresponds to 5 tones within the frequency axis, and the direct current tone corresponds to 3 tones within the frequency axis.
