Abstract

According to the present invention, there is provided a terminal device that transmits a signal to a base station apparatus through uplink, the terminal device including: a BSR generation unit that triggers a buffer status report BSR which is used for providing the base station apparatus with information on an amount of data that is available for transmission within a buffer for a first link which is used for communication between the terminal device and a different terminal device, and that cancels the triggered buffer status report; and a configuration unit that configures a first mode or a second mode, in which, in the first mode, a resource for transmitting data for the first link is scheduled by the base station apparatus, and in the second mode, the resource for transmitting the data for the first link is selected the terminal device from a resource pool, and in which, in a case where the second mode is configured, all of the triggered buffer status reports are cancelled.

Claims (27)

1. A terminal device configured to communicate with a base station apparatus through uplink, the terminal device comprising:

buffer status report (BSR)-generation circuitry configured to

trigger a BSR which is used to provide the base station apparatus with information on an amount of first link data available for transmission in a buffer of a first link which is used for communication between the terminal device and another terminal device, and

cancel the triggered BSR; and

transmission circuitry configured to perform, in a first mode or a second mode, transmission using the first link,

wherein, in the first mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is scheduled by the base station apparatus,

wherein, in the second mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is selected by the terminal device from a resource pool, and

the triggered BSR is cancelled when the second mode is configured,

wherein, in a case that the first mode is configured and a predetermined condition for triggering the buffer status report is satisfied, the buffer status report is triggered, and

wherein, in a case that the second mode is configured, the buffer status report is not triggered.

2. An integrated circuit mountable on a terminal device configured to communicate with a base station apparatus through uplink, the integrated circuit causing the terminal device to perform at least functions of:

triggering a buffer status report (BSR) which is used to provide the base station apparatus with information on an amount of first link data available for transmission in a buffer of a first link which is used for communication between the terminal device and another terminal device;

cancelling the triggered buffer status report; and

performing, in a first mode or a second mode, the transmission using the first link,

wherein, in the first mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is scheduled by the base station apparatus,

wherein, in the second mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is selected by the terminal device from a resource pool, and

the triggered BSR is cancelled when the second mode is configured,

wherein, in a case that the first mode is configured and a predetermined condition for triggering the buffer status report is satisfied, the buffer status report is triggered, and

wherein, in a case that the second mode is configured, the buffer status report is not triggered.

3. A wireless communication method for a terminal device configured to communicate with a base station apparatus through uplink, the wireless communication method comprising:

triggering a buffer status report (BSR) which is used to provide the base station apparatus with information on an amount of first link data available for transmission in a buffer of a first link which is used for communication between the terminal device and another terminal device;

cancelling the triggered BSR; and

performing, in a first mode or a second mode, transmission using the first link, wherein, in the first mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is scheduled by the base station apparatus

wherein, in the second mode, a resource for transmission of data of the first link is selected by the terminal device from a resource pool, and

the triggered BSR is cancelled when the second mode is configured,

wherein, in a case that the first mode is configured and a predetermined condition for triggering the buffer status report is satisfied, the buffer status report is triggered, and

wherein, in a case that the second mode is configured, the buffer status report is not triggered.
