Abstract

A near-eye display device includes an image output module, a coded-aperture module, and a light-guiding component. The image output module is configured to provide at least one image. The coded-aperture module is configured to encode the lights of the at least one image emitted from the image output module, so as to generate at least one left-eye image and at least one right-eye image. The light-guiding component is configured to send the left-eye image and the right-eye image to different directions respectively.

Claims (22)

1. A near-eye display device, comprising:

an image output module configured to provide at least one image;

a coded-aperture module configured to encode light of the at least one image emitted from the image output module, so as to generate at least one left-eye image through a first portion of the coded-aperture module and at least one right-eye image through a second portion of the coded-aperture module;

a light-guiding component configured to send the left-eye image and the right-eye image to different directions respectively, wherein the light-guiding component comprises:

a first splitting interface corresponding to the first portion of the coded-aperture module; and

a second splitting interface corresponding to the second portion of the coded-aperture module, wherein the first splitting interface is not parallel with the second splitting interface,

at least one lens group disposed in at least one exit path of the light-guiding component; and

at least one polarizing beam splitter disposed in at least one exit path of the lens group.

2. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein the light-guiding component is configured to send the left-eye image and the right-eye image to two opposite directions respectively.

3. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein the light-guiding component comprises at least one beam splitter.

4. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein the image output module comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes.

5. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein the coded-aperture module is a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS).

6. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one reflective mirror; and

at least one eyepiece group, wherein the polarizing beam splitter is disposed between the reflective mirror and the eyepiece group.

7. The near-eye display device of claim 6 , wherein the reflective mirror is a concave mirror.

8. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein two of the lens groups are disposed on two opposite sides of the light-guiding component.

9. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , further comprising:

a polarizer configured to transform the light of the image to polarized light, and send the polarized light to the coded-aperture module.

10. The near-eye display device of claim 1 , wherein the light-guiding component comprises:

a first beam splitter; and

a second beam splitter, wherein the first beam splitter is structurally connected with the second beam splitter.
