Bathing water containment kit and apparatus
View Patent ↗A kit for containing water within a bathing space, and a bathing space with components of the kit installed thereto. The kit includes a shower curtain with an extended portion, and a plurality of seam liners configured to adhere to portions of the bathing space with caulk or seams thereon. The extended portion of the shower curtain extends from a main portion of the shower curtain into the bathing space and prevents water from escaping to an exterior of the bathing space. The plurality of seam liners are adhered to portions of the bathing space to protect caulk or seams. The kit is useful for extending a lifespan of the bathing space, and for preventing water accumulation and resulting damage to a floor of a bathroom.
1. A kit for containing water in an interior of a bathing space, consisting of:
a shower curtain with an extended portion that extends from a main portion of the shower curtain into an interior of a bathing space;
wherein the extended portion is attachable to a wall of the interior of the bathing space by an attachment mechanism;
wherein the shower curtain includes a plurality of apertures along an upper edge thereof for securing the shower curtain to a shower curtain pole;
wherein the plurality of apertures is configured to accept a plurality of suspension rings therethrough to slidably suspend the shower curtain on a structure; and
a plurality of seam liners configured to cover seams of the interior of the bathing space.
