Abstract

An electronic device equipped with a processor, wherein the processor, when an audio device is connected which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound and a sound reception section in which a sound is inputted, instructs the audio device to acquire unique authentication information, and wherein the processor performs personal authentication of a user wearing the audio device based on the authentication information from the audio device.

Claims (19)

1. An electronic device comprising:

a memory; and

a hardware processor,

wherein the processor, when a first audio device is connected which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound and a sound reception section which inputs a sound, receives, from the first audio device, unique authentication information acquired by using the sound emission section and the sound reception section, before a first processing related to language learning using at least the sound reception section is executed;

wherein the processor performs personal authentication of a user wearing the first audio device based on the received authentication information, and controls execution of the first processing based on a result of the personal authentication from the first audio device; and

wherein the processor inputs pronunciation data related to the language learning from the user to the sound reception section of the first audio device, as the first processing related to the language learning.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor judges at least one of propriety of access to personal data of the user stored in relation to the first processing and propriety of execution of the first processing using the personal data, based on a result of the personal authentication.

3. The electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the processor, when the user is identified by the personal authentication, permits the identified user to access the personal data, executes the first processing using the personal data, and stores new personal data acquired during the first processing in a memory, and

wherein the processor, when the personal data of the user stored in advance exists, provides information regarding a comparison between the personal data of the user stored in advance and the new personal data acquired during the first processing.

4. The electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the processor does not permit the user to access the personal data, and executes an operation which does not use the personal data, when the user is not identified by the personal authentication.

5. The electronic device according to claim 1 ,

wherein, when the first audio device has been connected, the processor, before executing the processing related to the language learning, performs personal authentication of a user based on the authentication information received from the first audio device, and controls execution of the processing related to the language learning based on a result of the personal authentication.

6. The electronic device according to claim 5 , wherein the processor judges at least propriety of access to personal data of the user stored in relation to the language learning and propriety of execution of the processing related to the language learning using the personal data, based on a result of the personal authentication.

7. The electronic device according to claim 5 , wherein the processor further outputs pronunciation data related to the language learning to the sound emission section of the first audio device, as the processing related to the language learning.

8. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the processor judges which of the first audio device or a second audio device which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound but does not have a sound reception section in which a sound is inputted has been connected, and, based on a judgment result, controls whether to perform the personal authentication and controls execution content of the first processing.

9. The electronic device according to claim 8 , further comprising:

an audio section which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound and a sound reception section which inputs a sound, the audio section being provided in a main body,

wherein the processor selects from a plurality of modes including an external microphone mode using an audio device externally connected and a main body microphone mode using the audio section provided in a main body, and

wherein the processor, based on a selection state of the modes, and presence or absence of the audio device or a type thereof, controls whether to perform the personal authentication and execution content of the first processing.
