Abstract

An image processing method includes obtaining one or more sets of image data generated by an imaging sensor and one or more sets of positional data generated by one or more positional sensors. An individual set of image data is associated with an image timestamp based on a time at which the individual set of image data was generated. An individual set of positional data is associated with a positional timestamp based on a time at which the individual set of positional data was generated. The method further includes correlating one of the one or more sets of image data with a corresponding one of the one or more sets of positional data based on an image timestamp associated with the one of the one or more sets of image data and a positional timestamp associated with the corresponding one of the one or more sets of positional data.
