Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for transmitting control information. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, a first configuration for transmitting first control information from the first network device to a terminal device is determined based on a first control resource set (CORESET). The first configuration being different from a second configuration for transmitting second control information from a second network device to the terminal device and the second configuration being determined based on a second CORESET. The first control information is transmitted to the terminal device based on the first configuration.

transmitting, based on the second set of REs and the first RS configuration, the first RS to the terminal device.

9. A terminal device, comprising:

a processor; and

a memory coupled to the processor and storing instructions thereon, the instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the terminal device to perform actions, the actions comprising:

in response to detecting the first control information from the first network device, communicating with the first network device based on the first control information; and

in response to detecting the second control information from the second network device, communicating with the second network device based on the second control information,

wherein

the first configuration indicates that a first set of resource elements (REs) in the first CORESET are allocated for transmitting the first control information via a first control channel and a second set of REs in the first CORESET are allocated for transmitting a first reference signal (RS) associated with the first control channel, and
