Abstract

A camera module comprising: a housing; a lens assembly that is fixed to the housing and comprises at least one lens; a circuit board that is arranged inside the housing and comprises a first circuit board and a second circuit board, on which image sensors arranged to face the lens are mounted, respectively; and a first shield can arranged inside the housing so as to support edges of the first and second circuit boards.

Claims (43)

1. A camera module comprising:

a housing;

a lens assembly that is coupled to the housing and comprises at least one lens;

a first circuit board disposed inside the housing;

a second circuit board disposed below the first circuit board;

a first flexible circuit board electrically connecting the first circuit board and the second circuit board; and

a first shield can disposed in the housing so as to support the first circuit board and the second circuit board,

wherein the first shield can comprises a plurality of side walls,

wherein the plurality of side walls comprises a first side wall, and

wherein the first side wall comprises a first region, an entirety of which is overlapped with the first flexible circuit board in a lateral direction perpendicular to an optical axis direction of the at least one lens.

2. The camera module of claim 1 , wherein the first region is spaced apart from the first circuit board and the second circuit board.

3. The camera module of claim 1 , wherein the first side wall comprises a plurality of second regions having a height greater than a height of the first region, and

wherein the first region is disposed between second regions of the plurality of second regions.

4. The camera module of claim 3 , wherein the first region is formed to extend inwardly from second regions of the plurality of second regions.

5. The camera module of claim 3 , wherein a first distance from the first region to one end of each second region is different from a second distance from the first region to an other end of each second region.

6. The camera module of claim 1 , wherein a first ground part is formed on a side surface of the first circuit board, and the first ground part is contacted with an inner surface of the first shield can.

7. The camera module of claim 1 , wherein a second ground part is formed on a side surface of the second circuit board, and the second ground part is contacted with an inner surface of the first shield can.

8. The camera module of claim 1 , wherein the first circuit board and the second circuit board are formed to be the same size.

9. The camera module of claim 1 , comprising:

a second shield can coupled to the first shield can; and

a third circuit board fixed to the second shield can by being electrically connected to the second circuit board using a second flexible circuit board.

10. The camera module of claim 9 , wherein an area of the second shield can where the second flexible circuit board is disposed is formed in a bar shape partially cut away.

11. The camera module of claim 10 , wherein a third ground part is formed on a side surface of the third circuit board, and the third ground part is contacted with an inner surface of the second shield can.

12. The camera module of claim 9 , wherein the second shield can is coupled with a first coupling part, and the second shield can is coupled with a second coupling part coupled with the first coupling part.

13. The camera module of claim 12 , wherein the first coupling part includes a hole penetrating the inner surface of the second shield can from an outer surface of the second shield can, and the second coupling part includes a projection that fits in the hole.

14. The camera module of claim 9 , wherein the third circuit board is formed with a connector.

15. The camera module of claim 9 , wherein the second shield can includes a third circuit board support part protruded toward an inside of the second shield can in order to support the third circuit board, and a second circuit board disengagement prevention part protruded toward the inside of the second shield can in order to prevent the third circuit board from being disengaged.

16. A camera module comprising:

a housing;

a lens assembly that is coupled to the housing and comprises at least one lens;

a first circuit board, a second circuit board, and a third circuit board disposed inside the housing;

a first shield can disposed in the housing so as to support the first circuit board and the second circuit board; and

a second shield can disposed in the housing so as to support the second circuit board and the third circuit board,

wherein the first shield can comprises a plurality of first side walls and a first protrusion extending in an optical axis direction of the lens from one first side wall of the plurality of first side walls,

wherein the second shield can comprises a plurality of second side walls and a second protrusion extending in the optical axis direction of the lens from one second side wall of the plurality of second side walls, and

wherein a portion of the second protrusion is overlapped with the first protrusion in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction of the lens.

17. The camera module of claim 16 , wherein the first protrusion comprises a first coupling part,

wherein the second protrusion comprises a second coupling part,

wherein the first coupling part includes a hole, and

wherein the second coupling part includes a protrusion.

18. The camera module of claim 17 , wherein the protrusion is formed by bending the second protrusion from an outside to an inside.

19. The camera module of claim 16 , wherein the first protrusion is disposed inside the second protrusion.

20. The camera module of claim 17 , wherein the protrusion of the second coupling part is coupled to the hole of the first coupling part.
