Abstract

The invention relates to a panorama shooting may be performed in the process of switching from the open state to the folded state of the mobile phone, the panorama shooting can be started by pressing a predetermined button or by a voice command on the menu screen in the folded state, and the ending of the panorama shooting is performed through any one of pressing end button, uttering voice command, or detecting the state in which the mobile phone is completely opened.

Claims (38)

1. A foldable mobile phone, comprising:

a first device configured to form a first portion of the phone and has the first side and the second side which is the opposite side of the first side;

a second device configured to form a second portion of the phone and has the first side and the second side which is the opposite side of the first side;

wherein the first device and the second device can be folded into each other between the first device and second device, the folding angle formed by the first device and the second device varies according to the folding state,

wherein the second side of the first device and the second side of the second device face each other when the folding angle between the first device and second device forms 0 degree,

a first display is installed at the first side of the first device;

a second display is installed at the second side of the first device and the second side of second device;

wherein second display is made of foldable material and provide non-separated single screen through the second side of the first device and the second side of the second side of the second device,

one or more sensors;

one or more processors; and

a memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for controlling:

to execute one or more applications;

to display the application via the first display or the second display;

to receive the first sensing data from the one or more sensors;

to determine the folding angle between the first device and the second device according to the sensing data;

to turn off at least a portion of the first display when the folding angle satisfying first predetermined condition;

to activate a self-standing mode when the folding angle satisfying a second predetermined condition;

to separate a first portion of the second display corresponding to the first device and second portion of the second display corresponding to the second device in accordance with the activating the self-standing mode; and

to provide a user interface can be performed without direct touch of the mobile phone during the self-standing mode,

wherein the user interface can be performed without direct touch of the mobile phone during the self-standing mode includes user's voice control or gesture control.

2. The foldable mobile phone of claim 1 , wherein control icons to control the application are arranged only one of the first portion or second portion of the second display in accordance with the activating the self-standing mode.

3. The foldable mobile phone of claim 1 , in accordance with the activating the self-standing mode, receiving the second sensing data to activate an event when the phone takes predetermined action.

4. The foldable mobile phone of claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs including instructions for controlling:

to provide at least two applications in the self-standing mode for selecting by a user, wherein the at least two applications include any one of a video call or a camera mode.

5. The foldable mobile phone of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing a user interface for a camera mode for a user if the self-standing mode is the camera mode and taking an image by a gesture of the user.

6. The foldable phone of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing a user interface for a calling a phone if the self-standing mode is the video call mode.

7. The foldable phone of claim 1 , wherein the self-standing mode when the folding angle satisfying the second predetermined condition is in a range of 70 degree to 110 degree.

8. The foldable phone of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing a user interface for selecting any one of application in the self-standing mode by a user.

9. The foldable phone of claim 1 , wherein the self-standing mode includes a camera mode and a video call mode.

10. The foldable phone of claim 1 , wherein the performing self-standing mode comprises displaying a recently executed application, a most frequently application, or a specific application automatically.

11. The foldable phone of claim 1 , further comprising:

if the camera mode is selected, the foldable phone takes a still image or a moving image continuously, periodically, or when an event is occurs.

12. The foldable phone of claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs including instructions for controlling:

to determine whether the mobile phone is standing in a vertical direction or horizontal direction, and

to provide a predetermined application based upon a mobile phone's standing direction determination.
