Method and user equipment for multi-carrier data transmission
View Patent ↗The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure provides a method and a device for multi-carrier data transmission.
1. A method for a vehicle to everything (V2X) communication performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving configuration information on carriers and resource pools associated with the carriers;
identifying at least one carrier for at least one sidelink channel and at least one resource pool associated with the at least one carrier based on the configuration information;
determining an order of the at least one carrier according to a decreasing order based on a highest priority of a sidelink traffic channel;
determining at least one candidate resource from the at least one resource pool associated with the at least one carrier according to the determined order; and
selecting an available resource from the at least one candidate resource based on capability information of the UE,
wherein the capability information includes information on supported carrier combinations for the V2X communication.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel further comprises:
determining a carrier of which a channel busy ratio (CBR) is below a configured threshold as one of at least one candidate carrier for the at least one sidelink channel.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein identifying the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel further comprises:
selecting, from among the at least one candidate carrier, the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel based on an order of the CBR from a smallest CBR.
4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
transmitting a data on a sidelink channel based on the selected available resource.
5. A user equipment (UE) for a vehicle to everything (V2X) communication in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
a transceiver; and
a controller configured to:
receive, via the transceiver, configuration information on carriers and resource pools associated with the carriers,
identify at least one carrier for at least one sidelink channel and at least one resource pool associated with the at least one carrier based on the configuration information,
determine an order of the at least one carrier according to a decreasing order based on a highest priority of a sidelink traffic channel,
determine at least one resource from the at least one resource pool associated with the at least one carrier according to the determined order, and
select an available resource from the at least one candidate resource based on capability information of the UE,
wherein the capability information includes information on supported carrier combinations for the V2X communication.
6. The UE of claim 5 , wherein, to identify the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel, the controller is further configured to:
determine a carrier of which a channel busy ratio (CBR) is below a configured threshold as one of at least one candidate carrier for the at least one sidelink channel.
7. The UE of claim 6 , wherein, to identify the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel, the controller is further configured to:
select from among the at least one candidate carrier, the at least one carrier for the at least one sidelink channel based on an order of the CBR from a smallest CBR.
8. The UE of claim 5 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
transmit, via the transceiver, a data on a sidelink channel based on the selected available resource.
