Abstract

There is provided a mechanism that enables cooperation of a plurality of audio processing devices. An earphone device includes a sensor unit that detects an overlapping state of the earphone device and a headphone device and a wireless communication unit that wirelessly communicates with the headphone device which is worn to overlap an outer side of the earphone device worn by a user.

Claims (69)

1. An ear hole opening earphone device, comprising:

an audio input unit configured to:

collect first audio; and

generate an audio signal based on the collected first audio;

a sensor unit configured to detect an overlap between a headphone device and an outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device based on reception of a specific audio in an ultrasonic range from the headphone device; and

a wireless communication unit configured to:

wirelessly communicate with the headphone device, wherein

a space between the outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device and the headphone device is a sealed space isolated from an outer space; and

transmit the generated audio signal to the headphone device based on the detection of the overlap.

2. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a signal processing unit configured to:

generate a noise cancellation signal based on the generated audio signal; and

generate an output signal based on the generated noise cancellation signal; and

an audio output unit configured to output second audio based on the output signal.

3. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 2 , wherein the signal processing unit is further configured to generate the noise cancellation signal for noise in a frequency range higher than a specific frequency.

4. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 1 , wherein the wireless communication unit is further configured to start the transmission of the generated audio signal to the headphone device in a case where the overlap between the headphone device and the outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device is detected.

5. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 4 , further comprising a contactless charging unit configured to charge a battery power of the ear hole opening earphone device.

6. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 4 , wherein the sensor unit is further configured to detect the overlap between the headphone device and the outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device based on magnetic resonance between the headphone device and the ear hole opening earphone device.

7. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 1 , further comprising a holding unit configured to:

abut on one of a cavum concha or an inner wall of an ear canal; and

hold the audio input unit in a space closer to an eardrum side than a tragus, in a user wearable state of the ear hole opening earphone device.

8. The ear hole opening earphone device according to claim 7 , wherein the holding unit comprises an opening portion that opens an ear hole to an outside.

9. A headphone device, comprising:

a wireless communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with an ear hole opening earphone device; and

an audio output unit configured to output a specific audio in an ultrasonic range in a case where a worn state of the headphone device is detected, wherein

the ear hole opening earphone device overlaps with an inner side of the headphone device,

a space between the ear hole opening earphone device and the inner side of the headphone device is a sealed space isolated from an outer space,

the ear hole opening earphone device includes an earphone-side audio input unit that:

collects first audio,

generates a first audio signal based on the collected first audio, and

transmits the first audio signal to the headphone device based on reception of the specific audio in the ultrasonic range, and

the wireless communication unit is further configured to receive the generated first audio signal.

10. The headphone device according to claim 9 , further comprising:

a signal processing unit configured to:

generate a noise cancellation signal based on the generated first audio signal; and

generate an output signal based on the generated noise cancellation signal, wherein the audio output unit is further configured to output second audio based on the output signal.

11. The headphone device according to claim 10 , wherein the signal processing unit is further configured to generate the noise cancellation signal based on:

execution of a noise cancellation process of a feedback scheme using the earphone-side audio input unit as a cancellation point, and

the generated first audio signal.

12. The headphone device according to claim 10 , further comprising a first audio input unit configured to:

collect the first audio; and

generate a second audio signal based on the first audio collected by the first audio input unit, wherein the signal processing unit is further configured to generate the noise cancellation signal based on:

execution of a noise cancellation process of a feedback scheme using the first audio input unit as a cancellation point, and

the generated second audio signal.

13. The headphone device according to claim 10 , further comprising a second audio input unit configured to:

collect the first audio; and

generate a second audio signal based on the first audio collected by the second audio input unit, wherein the signal processing unit is further configured to:

generate the noise cancellation signal based on:

execution of a noise cancellation process of a feed forward scheme, and

the generated second audio signal; and

adaptively control a filter characteristic of the noise cancellation process of the feed forward scheme based on the generated first audio signal.

14. The headphone device according to claim 9 , wherein the wireless communication unit is further configured to start reception of the generated first audio signal in a case where an overlap between the headphone device and an outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device is detected.

15. A method, comprising:

in an ear hole opening earphone device:

collecting audio;

generating an audio signal based on the collected audio;

detecting an overlap between a headphone device and an outer side of the ear hole opening earphone device based on reception of a specific audio in an ultrasonic range from the headphone device;

wirelessly communicating with the headphone device; and

transmitting the generated audio signal to the headphone device based on the detection of the overlap.

16. A method, comprising:
