Abstract

Methods and systems for secure media processing may be used to execute and certify a digital media asset by verifying that the digital media asset is authentic and has not been altered since capture. In some cases, these secure media processing techniques may be used in the mobile certification and execution application and a corresponding server system. The mobile application and the corresponding server system may automatically generate finalized documents upon receiving certified digital media and the corresponding metadata from the users. The digital media and other information from the users may be received while the user is in communication with other users. A biometric and artificial intelligent feature recognition system may be utilized to receive biometric data and verify identity. Data transferred to a secure server are accessible by various parties involved in the certification and execution process to provide transparency.

Claims (42)

1. A method of content authentication, the method comprising:

receiving, from a media creation device, a digital media asset created using the media creation device;

generating an asset digital signature associated with creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, the asset digital signature operable as an indicator of provenance of the digital media asset;

receiving an indication of an interaction with the digital media asset; and

generating an interaction digital signature associated with the interaction with the digital media asset, the interaction digital signature operable as an indicator of provenance of the interaction with the digital media asset.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the media creation device includes a sensor, and wherein the media creation device captures the digital media asset using the sensor to create the digital media asset.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the media creation device generates at least a portion of the digital media asset to create the digital media asset.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating an asset hash of the digital media asset using a hash algorithm, wherein the asset digital signature includes the asset hash of the digital media asset, the asset hash of the digital media asset operable as the indicator of the provenance of the digital media asset; and

generating a change hash of the interaction with the digital media asset using the hash algorithm, wherein the interaction digital signature includes the change hash of the interaction with the digital media asset, the change hash of the interaction with the digital media asset operable as the indicator of the provenance of the interaction with the digital media asset.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

notarizing the digital media asset using the asset digital signature to generate a notarized digital media asset; and

notarizing the interaction with the digital media asset using the interaction digital signature to generate a notarized interaction with the digital media asset.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the interaction with the digital media asset is a change to the digital media asset.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the interaction with the digital media asset is an accessing of the digital media asset.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the asset digital signature includes asset location information indicative of a location associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, and wherein the interaction digital signature includes interaction location information indicative of a location associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the asset digital signature includes asset user information indicative of a user associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, and wherein the interaction digital signature includes interaction user information indicative of a user associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the asset digital signature includes asset device information indicative of the media creation device, and wherein the interaction digital signature includes interaction user information indicative of a device associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating an optical glyph that optically encodes information indicative of data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device and indicative of data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the information points to a network location that stores the data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device and the data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

13. The method of claim 11 , wherein the information includes the data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device and the data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

14. The method of claim 11 , wherein the data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device is indicative of a location associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, and wherein the data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset is indicative of a location associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device is indicative of a user associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, and wherein the data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset is indicative of a user associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

16. The method of claim 11 , wherein the data associated with the creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device is indicative of the media creation device, and wherein the data associated with the interaction with the digital media asset is indicative of a device associated with the interaction with the digital media asset.

17. The method of claim 11 , wherein the optical glyph includes at least one of a quick response (QR) code, a barcode, a stamp, a watermark, a logo, a signature, or a notary indicator.

18. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving a second indication of a second interaction with the digital media asset; and

generating a second interaction digital signature associated with the second interaction with the digital media asset, the second interaction digital signature operable as an indicator of provenance of the second interaction with the digital media asset; and

generating a tree map indicating a history of the digital media asset, the history of the digital media asset including at least the creation of the digital media asset, the interaction with the digital media asset, and the second interaction with the digital media asset.

19. A system for content authentication, the system comprising:

at least one memory; and

at least one processor coupled to the at least one memory, the at least one processor to:

receive, from a media creation device, a digital media asset created using the media creation device;

generate an asset digital signature associated with creation of the digital media asset using the media creation device, the asset digital signature operable as an indicator of provenance of the digital media asset;

receive an indication of an interaction with the digital media asset; and

generate an interaction digital signature associated with the interaction with the digital media asset, the interaction digital signature operable as an indicator of provenance of the interaction with the digital media asset.
