Abstract

The present invention relates to a data transmission device and reception device in a wireless AV system. Disclosed in the present specification is a wireless data transmission device comprising: a processor for generating a compressed bitstream by encoding media data; and a communication unit for segmenting the compressed bitstream, mapping the segmentation results to MSDUs, generating an MPDU frame sequentially including a MAC header, a frame body, and an FCS associated with the MAC header in order to transmit the MSDUs, generating a PPDU frame sequentially, which includes a preamble to which at least a portion of the MAC header is mapped, at least one PPDU to which the frame body and the FCS are mapped, and a TRN field, and transmitting the PPDU frame through a wireless channel. A data transmission rate can be improved through a reduction in overhead information.

generate a PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) sequentially including a preamble to which at least a part of the MAC header is mapped, at least one PHY service data unit (PSDU) to which the frame body and the FCS are mapped, and a training (TRN) field; and

transmit the PPDU frame through a wireless channel,

wherein the preamble to which the at least a part of the MAC header is mapped is an enhanced directional multi-gigabit-header A (EDMG-header A),

wherein the EDMG-header A sequentially includes a frame control (FC) field, a duration field, a receiver address (RA) field, a length field, a quality of service (QoS) field and a frame check sequence (FCS) field, and does not include a transmitter address (TA) field and a basic service set identifier (BSSID) field,

wherein the frame body includes a header and a plurality of sub-bodies,

wherein the header of the frame body includes at least some control information of the MAC header of the MPDU, and

wherein the plurality of sub-bodies sequentially includes a sequence field, the MSDU, and an FCS regarding the MSDU.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein 0 bit is allocated to a service set ID (SSID) field in the MAC header.

3. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the communication unit is further configured to generate wireless AV frame parameters based on at least one of the RA field, the length field or the QoS field and map the wireless AV frame parameters to the EDMG header A in the preamble.

4. The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the wireless AV frame parameters include at least one of a field indicating whether the PPDU frame 1 s a wireless AV data frame, a modified RA field based on an association ID (AID), an index field with respect to an A-MSDU size or a field indicating whether the PPDU frame is used for reverse direction grant, and a field indicating a wireless AV tracking type.

5. The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the communication unit is further configured to map the wireless AV frame parameters to at least some bits of an MCS field in the EDMG header A.

6. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein a number of the at least some bits of the MCS field is determined by a number of spatial streams.

7. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the communication unit is further configured to determine whether to perform retransmission in units of an MSDU of each sub-body based on an FCS regarding the frame body.

8. An apparatus for receiving data in a wireless audio video (AV) system, the apparatus comprising:

a communication unit configured to:

receive a PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) frame through a wireless channel;

obtain a preamble, at least one PHY service data unit (PSDU), and a training (TRN) field from the PPDU frame:
