Abstract

An organic electroluminescence device includes an anode, a cathode, a first emitting layer, and a second emitting layer disposed between the first emitting layer and the cathode, the first emitting layer containing a first host material in a form of a first compound represented by a formula (101) below, the second emitting layer containing a second host material in a form of a second compound represented by a formula (2) below, the first emitting layer and the second emitting layer being in direct contact with each other.

Claims (268)

1. An organic electroluminescence device comprising:

an anode;

a cathode; and

a first emitting layer and a second emitting layer disposed between the anode and the cathode,

wherein

the first emitting layer comprises a first host material and a fluorescent third compound,

the first host material is a first compound represented by a formula (101) below,

the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

the second emitting layer comprises a second host material and a fluorescent fourth compound,

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

where, in the formula (101):

R 101 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 120 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

one of R 101 to R 110 represents a bonding position to L 101 , and one of R 111 to R 120 represents a bonding position to L 101 ;

L 101 is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group selected from the group consisting of groups represented by formulae (TEMP-42) to (TEMP-52) and (TEMP-63) to (TEMP-68);

in the formulae (TEMP-42) to (TEMP-52) and (TEMP-63) to (TEMP-68): Q 1 to Q 10 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Q 1 to Q 10 as the substituent are each independently an unsubstituted phenyl group, an unsubstituted 1-naphtyl group or an unsubstituted 2-naphthyl group; and * represents a bonding position,

mx is 1, 2, or 3; and

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different,

in the first compound represented by the formula (1): R 901 , R 902 , R 903 , R 904 , R 905 , R 801 , and R 802 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 902 are present, the plurality of R 902 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 903 are present, the plurality of R 903 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 904 are present, the plurality of R 904 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 905 are present, the plurality of R 905 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 801 are present, the plurality of R 801 are mutually the same or different; and

when a plurality of R 802 are present, the plurality of R 802 are mutually the same or different.

2. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein the first compound is represented by a formula (1010) below,

where, in the formula (1010):

R 101 , R 102 , R 104 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 119 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

L 101 is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group selected from the group consisting of groups represented by formulae (TEMP-42) to (TEMP-52) and (TEMP-63) to (TEMP-68);

mx is 1, 2, or 3; and

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different.

3. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms.

4. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms.

5. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom.

6. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein the first compound is one of compounds represented by formulae (PY-1) to (PY-12) below,

7. An electronic device comprising the organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 .

8. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein the second host material is a second compound represented by a formula (2),

where, in the formula (2):

R 201 to R 208 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

L 201 and L 202 are each independently a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

Ar 201 and Ar 202 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms,

in the second compound represented by the formula (2): R 901 , R 902 , R 903 , R 904 , R 905 , R 906 , R 907 , R 801 , and R 802 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 902 are present, the plurality of R 902 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 903 are present, the plurality of R 903 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 904 are present, the plurality of R 904 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 905 are present, the plurality of R 905 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 906 are present, the plurality of R 906 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 907 are present, the plurality of R 907 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 801 are present, the plurality of R 801 are mutually the same or different; and

when a plurality of R 802 are present, the plurality of R 802 are mutually the same or different.

9. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

R 201 to R 208 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, or a nitro group.

10. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

L 201 and L 202 are each independently a single bond, or a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms; and

Ar 201 and Arm are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms.

11. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

Ar 201 and Ar 202 are each independently a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a phenanthryl group, a biphenyl group, a terphenyl group, a diphenylfluorenyl group, a dimethylfluorenyl group, a benzodiphenylfluorenyl group, a benzodimethylfluorenyl group, a dibenzofuranyl group, a dibenzothienyl group, a naphthobenzofuranyl group, or a naphthobenzothienyl group.

12. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

the second compound represented by the formula (2) is a compound represented by a formula (201), a formula (202), a formula (203), a formula (204), a formula (205), a formula (206), a formula (207), a formula (208), or a formula (209) below,

where, in the formulae (201) to (209):

L 201 and Ar 201 represent the same as L 201 and Ar 201 in the formula (2); and

R 201 to R 208 each independently represent the same as R 201 to R 208 of the formula (2).

13. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

in the second compound represented by the formula (2), R 201 to R 208 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a group represented by —Si(R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ).

14. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

R 201 to R 208 in the second compound represented by the formula (2) are each a hydrogen atom.

15. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 8 , wherein

in the second compound, the groups specified to be “substituted or unsubstituted” are each an “unsubstituted” group.

16. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

the fluorescent third compound and the fluorescent fourth compound are each independently a compound represented by a formula (5) or a formula (6),

where: in the formula (5):

at least one combination of adjacent two or more of R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 are mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic ring, mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted fused ring, or not mutually bonded;

R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 not forming the monocyclic ring and not forming the fused ring are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms; and

R 521 and R 522 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms

where: in the formula (6):

a ring, b ring and c ring are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon ring having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

R 601 and R 602 are optionally each independently bonded with the a ring, b ring, or a c ring to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle or to form no substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle; and

R 601 and R 602 not forming the substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms,

in the fluorescent third compound and the fluorescent fourth compound, R 901 , R 902 , R 903 , R 904 , R 905 , R 906 , and R 907 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 902 are present, the plurality of R 902 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 903 are present, the plurality of R 903 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 904 are present, the plurality of R 904 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 905 are present, the plurality of R 905 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 906 are present, the plurality of R 906 are mutually the same or different; and

when a plurality of R 907 are present, the plurality of R 907 are mutually the same or different.

17. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

a singlet energy S 1 (H2) of the second compound and a singlet energy S 1 (D4) of the fluorescent fourth compound satisfy a relationship of a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 2),

S 1 (H2)>S 1 (D4)  (Numerical Formula 2).

18. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

the second emitting layer is disposed between the first emitting layer and the cathode.

19. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein

the first emitting layer and the second emitting layer are in direct contact with each other.

20. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 1 , wherein the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm, and

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm.

21. An organic electroluminescence device comprising:

an anode;

a cathode; and

a first emitting layer and a second emitting layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein

the first emitting layer comprises a first host material and a fluorescent third compound,

the first host material is a first compound represented by a formula (101) below,

the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

the second emitting layer comprises a second host material and a fluorescent fourth compound,

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

where, in the formula (101):

R 101 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 120 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

one of R 101 to R 110 represents a bonding position to L 101 , and one of R 111 to R 120 represents a bonding position to L 101 ;

L 101 is a divalent group derived by removing one hydrogen atom from an aryl ring of a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted 1-naphthyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted 2-naphthyl group;

mx is 1, 2, or 3;

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different; and

the group represented by -(L 101 ) mx - is a group represented by any one of formulae (113) to (122) below,

where * in the formulae (113) to (122) represents a bonding position, and

in the first compound represented by the formula (1): R 901 , R 902 , R 903 , R 904 , R 905 , R 801 , and R 802 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 902 are present, the plurality of R 902 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 903 are present, the plurality of R 903 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 904 are present, the plurality of R 904 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 905 are present, the plurality of R 905 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 801 are present, the plurality of R 801 are mutually the same or different; and

when a plurality of R 802 are present, the plurality of R 802 are mutually the same or different.

22. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms.

23. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms.

24. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom.

25. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein the second host material is a second compound represented by a formula (2),

where, in the formula (2):

R 201 to R 208 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

L 201 and L 202 are each independently a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

Ar 202 and Ar 202 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms,

the fluorescent third compound and the fluorescent fourth compound are each independently a compound represented by a formula (5) or a formula (6),

where: in the formula (5):

at least one combination of adjacent two or more of R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 are mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic ring, mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted fused ring, or not mutually bonded;

R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 not forming the monocyclic ring and not forming the fused ring are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms; and

R 601 and R 602 are optionally each independently bonded with the a ring, b ring, or a c ring to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle or to form no substituted or unsubstituted heterocycle; and

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 902 are present, the plurality of R 902 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 903 are present, the plurality of R 903 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 904 are present, the plurality of R 904 are mutually the same or different;

when a plurality of R 905 are present, the plurality of R 905 are mutually the same or different;

27. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

a singlet energy S 1 (H2) of the second compound and a singlet energy S 1 (D4) of the fluorescent fourth compound satisfy a relationship of a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 2),

S 1 (H2)>S 1 (D4)  (Numerical Formula 2).

28. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

the first compound is represented by a formula (1010) below,

where, in the formula (1010):

R 101 , R 102 , R 104 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 119 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

L 101 is a divalent group derived by removing one hydrogen atom from an aryl ring of a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted 1-naphthyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted 2-naphthyl group;

mx is 1, 2, or 3;

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different, and

the group represented by -(L 101 ) mx - is a group represented by any one of the formulae (113) to (122).

29. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

the second emitting layer is disposed between the first emitting layer and the cathode.

30. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein

the first emitting layer and the second emitting layer are in direct contact with each other.

31. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 21 , wherein the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm, and

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm.

32. An organic electroluminescence device comprising:

an anode;

a cathode; and

a first emitting layer and a second emitting layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein

the first emitting layer comprises a first host material and a fluorescent third compound,

the first host material is a first compound represented by a formula (101) below,

the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

the second emitting layer comprises a second host material and a fluorescent fourth compound,

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 480 nm,

where, in the formula (101):

R 101 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 120 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

mx is 1, 2, or 3; and

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different,

in the first compound, the groups specified to be “substituted or unsubstituted” are each an “unsubstituted” group,

Ar 201 and Ar 202 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms,

in the second compound represented by the formula (2): R 901 , R 902 , R 903 , R 904 , R 905 , R 906 , R 907 , R 801 , and R 802 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when a plurality of R 901 are present, the plurality of R 901 are mutually the same or different;

at least one combination of adjacent two or more of R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 are mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic ring, mutually bonded to form a substituted or unsubstituted fused ring, or not mutually bonded;

R 501 to R 507 and R 511 to R 517 not forming the monocyclic ring and not forming the fused ring are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a group represented by —N(R 906 )(R 907 ), a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms; and

a singlet energy S 1 (H2) of the second compound and a singlet energy S 1 (D4) of the fluorescent fourth compound satisfy a relationship of a numerical formula (Numerical Formula 2),

S 1 (H2)>S 1 (D4)  (Numerical Formula 2).

36. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

the first compound is represented by a formula (1010) below,

where, in the formula (1010):

R 101 , R 102 , R 104 to R 110 , and R 111 to R 119 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted haloalkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a group represented by —S 1 (R 901 )(R 902 )(R 903 ), a group represented by —O—(R 904 ), a group represented by —S—(R 905 ), a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group having 7 to 50 carbon atoms, a group represented by —C(═O)R 801 , a group represented by —COOR 802 , a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms;

when two or more L 101 are present, the two or more L 101 are mutually the same or different.

37. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group having 5 to 50 ring atoms.

38. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms, and

R 111 to R 120 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 50 ring carbon atoms.

39. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

R 101 to R 110 not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom, and

R 111 to Rico not being the bonding position to L 101 are each a hydrogen atom.

40. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

the second emitting layer is disposed between the first emitting layer and the cathode.

41. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein

the first emitting layer and the second emitting layer are in direct contact with each other.

42. The organic electroluminescence device according to claim 32 , wherein the fluorescent third compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm, and

the fluorescent fourth compound is a compound whose main peak wavelength ranges from 430 nm to 455 nm.
