Abstract

Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for virtualization of non-fungible tokens. The present invention is configured to receive, via a first user input device, a resource transfer request using a virtual token from a first user, wherein the virtual token is electronically linked to an NFT of a resource transfer instrument; retrieve the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in response to receiving the resource transfer request; retrieve an NFT credential descriptor for the resource transfer request from a first metadata layer of the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; receive an authentication credential from the first user; determine whether the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor that is electronically linked to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions when executed, cause the at least one processing device to:

retrieve one or more resource transfer parameters associated with the virtual token;

determine that the resource transfer request meets the one or more resource transfer parameters; and

authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the resource transfer request meets the one or more resource transfer parameters.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions when executed, cause the at least one processing device to:

initiate an NFT generator on the resource transfer instrument based on at least receiving the first request.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein deploying the first transaction object further comprises:

capturing a distributed ledger address associated with the recording;

generating a notification indicating that the first transaction object has been created for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in the distributed ledger, wherein the notification comprises at least the distributed ledger address; and

transmitting control signals configured to cause the second user input device to display the notification.

5. The system of claim 3 , wherein the instructions when executed, cause the at least one processing device to:

receive, from the second user input device, a second request to generate the virtual token for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument;

generate, using a virtual token generator, the virtual token; and

electronically link the virtual token to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument.

6. The system of claim 5 , wherein electronically linking the virtual token to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument further comprises:

generating, using the NFT generator, a second metadata layer for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and

storing a virtual token identifier for the virtual token in the second metadata layer.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the instructions when executed, cause the at least one processing device to:

receive, from the second user input device, the NFT credential descriptor for the virtual token;

generate, using the NFT generator, the first metadata layer for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and

store the NFT credential descriptor for the virtual token in the first metadata layer.

8. A computer program product for virtualization of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising code causing a first apparatus to:

receive, from a second user input device, a first request to generate the NFT associated with a resource transfer instrument;

generate, using an NFT generator, the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument;

record the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in a distributed ledger, wherein recording the NFT on the distributed ledger further comprises:

generating a first transaction object for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and

deploying the first transaction object on the distributed ledger;

receive, via a first user input device, a resource transfer request using a virtual token from a first user, wherein the virtual token is electronically linked to the NFT of the resource transfer instrument;

retrieve the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in response to receiving the resource transfer request;

retrieve an NFT credential descriptor for the resource transfer request from a first metadata layer of the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument;

receive an authentication credential from the first user;

determine whether the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor that is electronically linked to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument; and

authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the authentication credential matches an NFT credential descriptor that is electronically linked to the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument.

9. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the code causes the first apparatus to:

retrieve one or more resource transfer parameters associated with the virtual token;

determine that the resource transfer request meets the one or more resource transfer parameters; and

authorize the resource transfer request based on at least determining that the resource transfer request meets the one or more resource transfer parameters.

10. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the code causes the first apparatus to:

initiate an NFT generator on the resource transfer instrument based on at least receiving the first request.

11. The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein deploying the first transaction object further comprises:

capturing a distributed ledger address associated with the recording;

generating a notification indicating that the first transaction object has been created for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument in the distributed ledger, wherein the notification comprises at least the distributed ledger address; and

transmitting control signals configured to cause the second user input device to display the notification.

12. The computer program product of claim 10 , wherein the code causes the first apparatus to:

receive, from the second user input device, a second request to generate the virtual token for the NFT associated with the resource transfer instrument;
