Claims (138)

1. An organometallic compound represented by Formula 1-1:

wherein, in Formula 1-1,

the moiety represented by

 is represented by Formula CY2-1:

*′ indicates a binding site to M of Formula 1-1,

* indicates a binding site to a neighboring atom of Formula 1-1, and

*″ indicates a binding site to a neighboring atom of Formula 1-1

M is platinum (Pt),

X 1 is O,

X 2 is N,

X 3 is C,

X 51 is N-[(L 7 ) b7 -(R 7 )],

X 11 is C—(R 11 ), X 12 is C—(R 12 ), X 13 is C—(R 13 ), X 14 is C—(R 14 ),

X 21 is C—(R 21 ), X 22 is C—(R 22 ), X 23 is C—(R 23 ),

X 31 is C—(R 31 ), X 32 is C—(R 32 ), X 33 is C—(R 33 ),

R 7 , R 11 to R 14 , R 21 to R 23 , R 31 to R 33 and R 41 to R 44 are each independently selected from hydrogen, deuterium, —F, a cyano group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, —N(Q 1 )(Q 2 ), and —Si(Q 3 )(Q 4 )(Q 5 ),

the substituent of the substituted C 5 -C 30 carbocyclic group, the substituted C 1 -C 30 heterocyclic group, the substituted C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, the substituted C 6 -C 60 aryl group and the substituted C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group is selected from:

deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 ;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

—N(Q 31 )(Q 32 ), and —Si(Q 33 )(Q 34 )(Q 35 ); and

Q 1 to Q 5 and Q 31 to Q 35 are each independently selected from hydrogen, deuterium, —F; a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, and a C 6 -C 60 aryl group; a C 6 -C 60 aryl group and a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, and a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group.

2. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

L 42 and L 7 are each independently selected from:

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group; and

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group, each substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a pyridinyl group, a pyrimidinyl group and —Si(Q 33 )(Q 34 )(Q 35 ).

3. The organometallic compound of claim 2 , wherein

at least one selected from (a), (b) and (c) is true:

(a) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

(b) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, or

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

(c) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

4. The organometallic compound of claim 3 , wherein

R 7 is selected from:

hydrogen, deuterium, —F;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

5. The organometallic compound of claim 2 , wherein

R 7 is selected from:

hydrogen, deuterium, —F;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

6. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

7. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, or

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

8. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

9. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

at least one selected from (a), (b) and (c) is true:

(a) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

(b) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, or

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

(c) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

10. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

two of a plurality of neighboring groups R 11 to R 14 are linked to form a substituted or unsubstituted C 5 -C 30 carbocyclic group or a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 30 heterocyclic group,

two of a plurality of neighboring groups R 21 to R 23 are linked to form a substituted or unsubstituted C 5 -C 30 carbocyclic group or a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 30 heterocyclic group,

two of a plurality of neighboring groups R 31 to R 33 are linked to form a substituted or unsubstituted C 5 -C 30 carbocyclic group or a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 30 heterocyclic group, or

two of a plurality of neighboring groups R 41 to R 44 are linked to form a substituted or unsubstituted C 5 -C 30 carbocyclic group or a substituted or unsubstituted C 1 -C 30 heterocyclic group.

11. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

R 7 is selected from:

hydrogen, deuterium, —F;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

12. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

b42 is an integer from 1 to 5.

13. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

L 7 is selected from a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group, each substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a pyridinyl group, a pyrimidinyl group and —Si(Q 33 )(Q 34 )(Q 35 ), and

R 7 is selected from;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

14. The organometallic compound of claim 1 , wherein

the organometallic compound comprises at least one deuterium.

15. An organic light-emitting device comprising:

a first electrode;

a second electrode; and

an organic layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode,

wherein the organic layer comprising an emission layer, and

wherein the organic layer comprises at least one organometallic compound of claim 1 .

16. The organic light-emitting device of claim 15 , wherein the emission layer comprises the organometallic compound and a host, and

an amount of the host in the emission layer is greater than an amount of the organometallic compound in the emission layer.

17. The organic light-emitting device of claim 15 , wherein, in Formula 1-1,

L 42 and L 7 are each independently selected from:

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group; and

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group, each substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a pyridinyl group, a pyrimidinyl group and —Si(Q 33 )(Q 34 )(Q 35 ).

18. The organic light-emitting device of claim 15 , wherein, in Formula 1-1,

at least one selected from (a), (b) and (c) is true:

(a) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

(b) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, or

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

(c) at least one of R 11 to R 14 , at least one of R 21 to R 23 , at least one of R 31 to R 33 , at least one of R 41 to R 44 , or any combination thereof is

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, or

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

19. The organic light-emitting device of claim 18 , wherein, in Formula 1-1,

L 42 and L 7 are each independently selected from:

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group; and

a benzene group, a naphthalene group, an anthracene group, a pyridine group, a pyrimidine group, a pyrazine group, and a pyridazine group, each substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a pyridinyl group, a pyrimidinyl group and —Si(Q 33 )(Q 34 )(Q 35 ), and

R 7 is selected from:

hydrogen, deuterium, —F;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.

20. The organic light-emitting device of claim 15 , wherein

R 7 is selected from:

hydrogen, deuterium, —F;

a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 1 -C 60 alkyl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group;

a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group; and

a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group substituted with at least one selected from deuterium, —F, a cyano group, —CD 3 , —CD 2 H, —CDH 2 , —CF 3 , —CF 2 H, —CFH 2 , C 1 -C 60 alkyl group, a C 6 -C 60 aryl group, and a C 1 -C 60 heteroaryl group.
