Abstract

A distributed interface display method. A first electronic device may display content in a plurality of function areas (for example, a first function area and a second function area) on the first electronic device and another electronic device (for example, a second electronic device) in a distributed collaborative manner. Specifically, when the first electronic device displays the content in the first function area and the content in the second function area, the first electronic device may send the content in one of the function areas (for example, the first function area) to the second electronic device for display.

4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein windows in the first application interface, the second application interface and the third application interface are adjustable in adaptability, and the adaptability comprises at least one of a stretching capability, a scaling capability, a hiding capability, a line wrapping capability, an equalization capability, a proportion capability, or an extension capability.

5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:

withdrawing, by the first electronic device in response to an operation of a user triggering withdrawal from collaborative display, the content in the first application interface from displaying on the second electronic device; and

displaying, by the first electronic device, the first interface after the first electronic device withdraws the content in the first application interface from displaying on the second electronic device, wherein the first interface comprises at least the first application interface, the second application interface, and the third application interface.

6. A method comprising:

displaying, by a first electronic device, a first interface, wherein the first interface comprises an electronic document list, and the electronic document list comprises at least one unread electronic document and at least one read electronic document;

detecting, by the first electronic device, a touch operation to the first electronic device, and determining, by the first electronic device, that a second electronic device is a secondary device of the first electronic device for display;

searching, by the first electronic device, for a latest unread electronic document in the at least one unread electronic document, and displaying, by the first electronic device, a detail interface comprising the latest unread electronic document on the second electronic device; and

continuing displaying, by the first electronic device after displaying the detail interface on the second electronic device, the electronic document list, wherein the latest unread electronic document in the electronic document list is marked as read.

7. The method according to claim 6 , wherein searching, by the first electronic device, for the latest unread electronic document in the at least one unread electronic document, and displaying, by the first electronic device, the detail interface comprising the latest unread electronic document on the second electronic device comprises:

in response to the touch operation, searching, by the first electronic device, for the latest unread electronic document in the at least one unread electronic document, and sending, by the first electronic device, the detail interface comprising the latest unread electronic document to the second electronic device for display.

8. The method according to claim 6 , wherein the electronic document list is one of following: an email list, a short message list, or a memo list.

9. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the email list or the short message list, and the method further comprises:

sending, by the second electronic device in response to a received editing operation of a user on the detail interface displayed on the second electronic device, an input keyboard to the first electronic device for display, wherein the second electronic device displays only an editing interface for the latest unread electronic document.

10. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the email list or the short message list, and the method further comprises:

floating or overlapping, by the second electronic device in response to a received editing operation of a user on the detail interface displayed on the second electronic device, an input keyboard for display in an editing interface for the latest unread electronic document on the second electronic device; and

sending, by the second electronic device in response to a detected touch operation to the second electronic device, the input keyboard to the first electronic device for display, wherein the second electronic device displays only the editing interface for the latest unread electronic document.

11. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the email list or the short message list, and the method further comprises:

sending, by the second electronic device in response to a received reply operation of a user to the latest unread electronic document, an input keyboard to the first electronic device for display, wherein the second electronic device displays only a reply interface for the latest unread electronic document.

12. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the email list or the short message list, and the method further comprises:

floating or overlapping, by the second electronic device in response to a received reply operation of a user to the latest unread electronic document, an input keyboard for display in a reply interface for the latest unread electronic document on the second electronic device; and

sending, by the second electronic device in response to a detected touch operation to the second electronic device, the input keyboard to the first electronic device for display, wherein the second electronic device displays only the reply interface for the latest unread electronic document.

13. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the memo list, and the method further comprises:

sending, by the second electronic device in response to a received editing operation of a user on a latest unsettled memo note displayed in the detail interface, an input keyboard to the first electronic device for display, wherein the second electronic device displays only an editing interface for the latest unsettled memo note.

14. The method according to claim 8 , wherein the electronic document list is the memo list, and the method further comprises:
