Abstract

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication associated with receiving downlink control information (DCI) communications. The indication may identify a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring location associated with receiving DCI communications during a first period of time, and a second PDCCH monitoring location associated with receiving DCI communications during a second period of time that follows the first period of time. The UE may monitor in the first PDCCH monitoring location and the second PDCCH monitoring location based at least in part on the indication.

wherein the total period of time corresponds to a group of slots that includes the first period of time and the second period of time.

13. The method of claim 9 , wherein the indication of the total period of time identifies a number of periods of time during which the indication is valid, and a number of slots in each of the first period of time and the second period of time.

14. The method of claim 9 , wherein the indication identifies a third PDCCH monitoring location associated with receiving at least one third subsequent DCI communications during the first period of time,

wherein the third PDCCH monitoring location is different from the first PDCCH monitoring location.

15. The method of claim 14 , further comprising:

determining that no DCI communication for a user equipment (UE) is to be transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring location; and

transmitting a DCI communication in the third PDCCH monitoring location based at least in part on determining that no DCI communication for the UE is to be transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring location.

16. The method of claim 9 , wherein, for each of the first PDCCH monitoring location and the second PDCCH monitoring location, the indication includes information associated with at least one of:
