Abstract

A user equipment includes a control unit that sets an operation mode of the user equipment to an idle mode; a transmission unit that transmits data by using a preconfigured radio resource for transmitting data in the idle mode; and a reception unit that receives transmission acknowledgement information for the data by monitoring at least one search space from a paging search space or an additional search space that is to be monitored in the idle mode.

Claims (24)

1. A terminal comprising:

a transmission unit that transmits data by using a preconfigured uplink radio resource in an idle mode; and

a reception unit that detects acknowledgement information for the data in a search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource,

wherein the search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource is set at a position relative to the preconfigured radio resource, and

wherein, when a number of times of not performing a transmission using the preconfigured uplink radio resource reaches a predetermined number, the predetermined number being greater than 1, the terminal assumes that the preconfigured uplink radio resource is released.

2. A base station comprising:

a reception unit that receives data by using a preconfigured uplink radio resource in an idle mode; and

a transmission unit that transmits acknowledgement information for the data in a search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource,

wherein the search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource is set at a position relative to the preconfigured radio resource, and

wherein, when a number of times of not performing a reception using the preconfigured uplink radio resource reaches a predetermined number, the predetermined number being greater than 1, the base station releases the preconfigured uplink radio resource.

3. A communication system comprising:

a terminal including:

a transmission unit that transmits data to a base station by using a preconfigured uplink radio resource in an idle mode, and

a reception unit that receives acknowledgement information for the data in a search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource,

wherein the search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource is set at a position relative to the preconfigured radio resource, and

wherein, when a number of times of not performing a transmission using the preconfigured uplink radio resource reaches a predetermined number, the predetermined number being greater than 1, the terminal assumes that the preconfigured uplink radio resource is released; and

the base station including:

a reception unit that receives the data by using the preconfigured uplink radio resource in the idle mode, and

a transmission unit that transmits the acknowledgement information to the terminal in the search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource.

4. A communication method executed by a terminal, the method comprising:

transmitting data by using a preconfigured uplink radio resource in an idle mode; and

detecting acknowledgement information for the data in a search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource,

wherein the search space dedicated to the preconfigured uplink radio resource is set at a position relative to the preconfigured radio resource, and

wherein, when a number of times of not performing a transmission using the preconfigured uplink radio resource reaches a predetermined number, the predetermined number being greater than 1, the terminal assumes that the preconfigured uplink radio resource is released.
