Abstract

An electric work vehicle includes a driver section that an operator is able to enter, a battery positioned forward of the driver section, a motor drivable on electric power supplied by the battery, a travel device drivable by the motor, a cover including an accommodation space inside and capable of being opened and closed, wherein the battery includes an electricity storage to store electric power and a battery cover hermetically accommodating the electricity storage, and the battery cover includes an outer wall surface defining a portion of an exterior of the electric work vehicle.

Claims (22)

1. An electric work vehicle, comprising:

a driver section that an operator is able to enter;

a battery forward of the driver section;

a motor drivable on electric power supplied by the battery;

a travel device drivable by the motor; and

a cover including an accommodation space inside and capable of being opened and closed; wherein

the battery includes:

an electricity storage to store electric power; and

a battery cover hermetically accommodating the electricity storage;

the battery cover includes an outer wall surface defining a portion of an exterior of the electric work vehicle; and

the accommodation space included in the cover is adjacent to and in front of the battery cover.

2. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein

the cover is adjacent to the battery; and

the cover includes an end portion facing the battery cover which end portion includes an outer shape continuous with an outer shape of an end portion of the battery cover which end portion faces the cover.

3. The electric work vehicle according to claim 2 , wherein the cover is held by the battery cover.

4. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the cover is swingable about a swing axis extending in a left-right direction of a machine body to be opened and closed.

5. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the cover is swingable about a swing axis extending in an up-down direction of a machine body to be opened and closed.

6. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the cover is slidable relative to the battery cover to be opened and closed.

7. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein the battery cover includes an inspection opening allowing communication between an inside and outside of the battery cover, and includes an inspection opening cover capable of exposing and closing the inspection opening.

8. The electric work vehicle according to claim 1 , wherein

the battery cover includes a left side wall and a right side wall; and

the left side wall and the right side wall are oriented vertically or substantially vertically, and are parallel or substantially parallel to each other in a plan view.
