Abstract

One disclosure of the present disclosure provides a user equipment (UE). The UE comprises: a transceiver unit that transmits and receives a signal; and a processor that controls the transceiver unit, wherein the transceiver unit comprises two transmitters, the UE can perform output at a maximum of 26 dBm, the processor determines transmission power on the basis of maximum power reduction (MPR), the MPR is set based on outer RB allocations and inner RB allocations, the MPR is set based on CP-OFDM, the MPR is set based on QPSK, 16 QAM, 64 QAM, and 256 QAM, and the transceiver transmits a sidelink signal to another UE on the basis of the transmission power.

Claims (42)

1. A UE (user equipment), comprising:

a transceiver to transmit a signal and to receive a signal; and

a processor to control the transceiver,

a memory operably connectable to the processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the processor, (cause the processor to) perform operations, the operations comprising:

applying MPR (Maximum Power Reduction) to transmission power;

applying A-MPR (Additional-MPR) to the transmission power, based on the UE receiving NS (Network Signal) from a network;

wherein the UE is a power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for the power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for PSCCH (Physical Sidelink Control Channel) or PSSCH (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel),

transmitting a sidelink signal to another UE with the applied transmission power on the PSCCH or the PSSCH,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the QPSK (quadrature phase-shift keying) or the 16QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Outer RB (Resource Block) allocations, the MPR is less than 5.5 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 64QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Outer RB allocations, the MPR is less than 6.0 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the QPSK or the 16QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Inner RB allocations, the MPR being less than 2.5 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 64QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Inner RB allocations, the MPR is less than 4.5 dB,

wherein, based on the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 256QAM, the MPR is less than 7.0 dB.

2. The UE of claim 1 , wherein the MPR is based on CP (Cyclic Prefix)-OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing).

3. A method for performing communication, performed by a UE (user equipment), comprising:

applying MPR (Maximum Power Reduction) to transmission power;

applying A-MPR (Additional-MPR) to the transmission power, based on the UE receiving NS (Network Signal) from a network;

wherein the UE is a power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for the power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for PSCCH (Physical Sidelink Control Channel) or PSSCH (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel),

transmitting a sidelink signal to another UE with the applied transmission power on the PSCCH or the PSSCH,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the QPSK (quadrature phase-shift keying) or the 16QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Outer RB (Resource Block) allocations, the MPR is less than 5.5 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 64QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Outer RB allocations, the MPR is less than 6.0 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the QPSK or the 16QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Inner RB allocations, the MPR being less than 2.5 dB,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 64QAM and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Inner RB allocations, the MPR is less than 4.5 dB,

wherein, based on the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the 256QAM, the MPR is less than 7.0 dB.

4. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having recorded instructions,

wherein the instructions, based on being executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

applying MPR (Maximum Power Reduction) to transmission power;

applying A-MPR (Additional-MPR) to the transmission power, based on the UE receiving NS (Network Signal) from a network;

wherein the UE includes the non-transitory computer readable storage medium,

wherein the UE is a power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for the power class 2 UE,

wherein the MPR is for PSCCH (Physical Sidelink Control Channel) or PSSCH (Physical Sidelink Shared Channel),

transmitting a sidelink signal to another UE with the applied transmission power on the PSCCH or the PSSCH,

wherein, based on i) the sidelink signal being transmitted by modulation scheme of the QPSK (quadrature phase-shift keying) or the 16QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and ii) the sidelink signal being transmitted via the Outer RB (Resource Block) allocations, the MPR is less than 5.5 dB,
