Abstract

An assembly for a drug delivery device is provided, the assembly comprising a feedback feature. The feedback feature is configured to indicate an end of the dispense operation to a user by giving an audible and/or tactile feedback.

Claims (28)

1. An assembly for a drug delivery device, the assembly comprising:

a feedback feature being configured to indicate an end of a dispense operation to a user by giving an audible and/or tactile feedback; and

an actuator configured to be operated to dispense a dose;

wherein the feedback feature creates the audible and/or tactile feedback when the actuator reaches an end position at the end of the dispense operation, and wherein the feedback feature is configured to snap when it is compressed above a certain load to generate the audible and/or tactile feedback.

2. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the feedback feature is in the form of a dome.

3. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the actuator interacts with the feedback feature.

4. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the feedback feature comprises a metal material.

5. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the feedback feature is in the form of an arched disk with at least one recess.

6. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the feedback feature comprises an opening, wherein at least one element of the assembly extends through the opening.

7. A drug delivery device comprising:

a housing;

an assembly at least partially disposed in the housing, the assembly comprising:

a feedback feature being configured to indicate an end of a dispense operation to a user by giving an audible and/or tactile feedback; and

an actuator which is configured to be operated in order to dispense a dose;

wherein the feedback feature creates the audible and/or tactile feedback when the actuator reaches an end position at the end of a dispense operation, and wherein the feedback feature is configured to snap when it is compressed above a certain load to generate the audible and/or tactile feedback.

8. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , wherein the feedback feature is in the form of a dome.

9. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , wherein the actuator interacts with the feedback feature.

10. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , wherein the feedback feature comprises a metal material.

11. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , wherein the feedback feature is in the form of an arched disk with at least one recess.

12. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , wherein the feedback feature comprises an opening, wherein at least one element of the assembly extends through the opening.

13. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , further comprising a cartridge disposed in the housing.

14. The drug delivery device according to claim 13 , wherein the cartridge contains a medicament.

15. The drug delivery device according to claim 13 , further comprising a cartridge holder configured to receive the cartridge.

16. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , further comprising a needle arrangement comprising a needle hub and a needle cover.

17. The drug delivery device according to claim 7 , further comprising an indicator configured to rotate with respect to the housing during the dispense operation.

18. The drug delivery device according to claim 17 , wherein a series of numbers is provided on an outer surface of the indicator.

19. The drug delivery device of claim 18 , wherein the numbers are arranged on a helical line.

20. The drug delivery device of claim 19 , further comprising a window on the housing, wherein at least one of the numbers is visible through the window.
