Abstract

A computer system performs techniques related to displaying a representation of a secure credential and using the secure credential. In some embodiments, a computer system detects that the computer system is physically near a vehicle. In some embodiments, a computer system permits a user access to use one or more functions of a vehicle using a secure credential.

Claims (74)

1. A computer system configured to communicate with a display generation component and one or more input devices, comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for: displaying, via the display generation component, a first user interface of an electronic wallet application that concurrently includes a representation of a first secure credential associated with a first vehicle manufacturer of a first vehicle and one or more representations of other secure credentials that are not associated with a vehicle manufacturer of a vehicle;

detecting that the computer system is physically near the first vehicle; and

permitting a user access to use one or more functions of a first vehicle using the first secure credential.

2. The computer system of claim 1 , wherein permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential includes permitting access to the use the one or more functions of the vehicle without requiring successful authentication of the user.

3. The computer system of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for:

detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input corresponding to the representation of the first secure credential; and

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, a selectable user interface object that, when selected, permits access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user after detecting the user input.

4. The computer system of claim 3 , wherein the selectable user interface object is displayed as part of a second user interface different from the first user interface.

5. The computer system of claim 3 , the one or more programs further including instructions for:

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, at least one of an indication of a model of the first vehicle and an indication of an issuer of the first secure credential.

6. The computer system of claim 3 , wherein, when the selectable user interface object is not selected, successful authentication of the user is a requirement to access one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential.

7. The computer system of claim 6 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes biometrically authenticating a user.

8. The computer system of claim 6 , the one or more programs further including instructions for:

detecting a request to use a first function of the first vehicle;

in response to detecting the request to use the first function of the first vehicle:

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has been enabled via the selectable user interface object, performing the first function of the first vehicle; and

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has not been enabled via the selectable user interface object, displaying, via the display generation component, a prompt for authenticating the user to permit access to use the requested first function of the first vehicle.

9. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes:

displaying, via the display generation component, a plurality of character entry keys for inputting authentication information;

receiving input, via the plurality of character entry keys, corresponding to authentication information; and

in response to receiving the input corresponding to authentication information, and in accordance with a determination that the authentication information is valid, permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle.

10. The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more representations of other secure credentials includes a representation of a secure credential that corresponds to a payment account.

11. The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes at least one of unlocking the first vehicle, opening a trunk of the first vehicle, and starting one or more systems of the first vehicle.

12. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices, the one or more programs including instructions for:

displaying, via the display generation component, a first user interface of an electronic wallet application that concurrently includes a representation of a first secure credential associated with a first vehicle manufacturer of a first vehicle and one or more representations of other secure credentials that are not associated with a vehicle manufacturer of a vehicle;

detecting that the computer system is physically near the first vehicle; and

permitting a user access to use one or more functions of a first vehicle using the first secure credential.

13. A method comprising:

at a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices:

displaying, via the display generation component, a first user interface of an electronic wallet application that concurrently includes a representation of a first secure credential associated with a first vehicle manufacturer of a first vehicle and one or more representations of other secure credentials that are not associated with a vehicle manufacturer of a vehicle;

detecting that the computer system is physically near the first vehicle; and

permitting a user access to use one or more functions of a first vehicle using the first secure credential.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential includes permitting access to the use the one or more functions of the vehicle without requiring successful authentication of the user.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:

detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input corresponding to the representation of the first secure credential; and

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, a selectable user interface object that, when selected, permits access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user after detecting the user input.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the selectable user interface object is displayed as part of a second user interface different from the first user interface.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, at least one of an indication of a model of the first vehicle and an indication of an issuer of the first secure credential.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein, when the selectable user interface object is not selected, successful authentication of the user is a requirement to access one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 18 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes biometrically authenticating a user.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 18 , wherein the one or more programs further include instructions for:

detecting a request to use a first function of the first vehicle;

in response to detecting the request to use the first function of the first vehicle:

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has been enabled via the selectable user interface object, performing the first function of the first vehicle; and

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has not been enabled via the selectable user interface object, displaying, via the display generation component, a prompt for authenticating the user to permit access to use the requested first function of the first vehicle.

21. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes:

displaying, via the display generation component, a plurality of character entry keys for inputting authentication information;

receiving input, via the plurality of character entry keys, corresponding to authentication information; and

in response to receiving the input corresponding to authentication information, and in accordance with a determination that the authentication information is valid, permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle.

22. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the one or more representations of other secure credentials includes a representation of a secure credential that corresponds to a payment account.

23. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes at least one of unlocking the first vehicle, opening a trunk of the first vehicle, and starting one or more systems of the first vehicle.

24. The method of claim 13 , wherein permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential includes permitting access to the use the one or more functions of the vehicle without requiring successful authentication of the user.

25. The method of claim 13 , further comprising:

detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input corresponding to the representation of the first secure credential; and

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, a selectable user interface object that, when selected, permits access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user after detecting the user input.

26. The method of claim 25 , wherein the selectable user interface object is displayed as part of a second user interface different from the first user interface.

27. The method of claim 25 , further comprising:

in response to detecting the user input, displaying, via the display generation component, at least one of an indication of a model of the first vehicle and an indication of an issuer of the first secure credential.

28. The method of claim 25 , wherein, when the selectable user interface object is not selected, successful authentication of the user is a requirement to access one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential.

29. The method of claim 28 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes biometrically authenticating a user.

30. The method of claim 28 , further comprising:

detecting a request to use a first function of the first vehicle;

in response to detecting the request to use the first function of the first vehicle:

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has been enabled via the selectable user interface object, performing the first function of the first vehicle; and

in accordance with a determination that access to use one or more functions of the first vehicle using the first secure credential without requiring successful authentication of the user has not been enabled via the selectable user interface object, displaying, via the display generation component, a prompt for authenticating the user to permit access to use the requested first function of the first vehicle.

31. The method of claim 30 , wherein authenticating the user to permit access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes:

displaying, via the display generation component, a plurality of character entry keys for inputting authentication information;

receiving input, via the plurality of character entry keys, corresponding to authentication information; and

in response to receiving the input corresponding to authentication information, and in accordance with a determination that the authentication information is valid, permitting access to use the one or more functions of the first vehicle.

32. The method of claim 13 , wherein the one or more representations of other secure credentials includes a representation of a secure credential that corresponds to a payment account.

33. The method of claim 13 , wherein the one or more functions of the first vehicle includes at least one of unlocking the first vehicle, opening a trunk of the first vehicle, and starting one or more systems of the first vehicle.
