Abstract

An electronic apparatus includes a projector, an input/output interface, a memory, and a processor that controls the electronic apparatus by executing at least one instruction stored in the memory. The processor obtains screen information of a screen device connected to the electronic apparatus, controls the input/output interface to transmit first operation information corresponding to an unrolling of the screen device in response to receiving a user command to project an image, and controls the projector to project a first image to at least a partial region of a region in which a screen of the screen device is exposed based on the screen information while the screen of the screen device is being unrolled, based on the first operation information.

Claims (52)

1. An electronic apparatus comprising:

a projector; and

a processor configured to perform control to:

transmit information instructing a screen device to unroll a screen of the screen device, in response to receiving a user command to project an image,

while the screen is being unrolled by the screen device based on the transmitted information, control the projector to project an image to a region of the screen that is exposed, and

based on a size of the region of the screen that is exposed being changed as the screen is unrolled, control the projector to change a size of the projected image as the screen is unrolled according to the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

2. The electronic apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the changing of the size of the projected image changes the size of the projected image so as to have an animation effect based on the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

3. The electronic apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to perform control to:

based on the screen being unrolled to a maximum height, control the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed.

4. The electronic apparatus of claim 1 , wherein

the processor is further configured to:

obtain information of the screen that includes a time from a start of unrolling of the screen for the screen to reach a minimum height for the image to be projected by the projector on the screen, and

the processor is configured to perform control to control the projector to start projecting the image to the region of the screen that is exposed after the time included in the obtained information elapses from when the screen started unrolling.

5. The electronic apparatus of claim 4 , wherein

the obtained information of the screen includes a time for the screen to reach a maximum height of the screen, and

the processor is configured to perform control to, based on the time for the screen to reach the maximum height included in the obtained information, control the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed when the screen reaches the maximum height.

6. An electronic apparatus comprising:

a projector; and

a processor configured to perform control to:

obtain information indicating a time from a start of unrolling of a screen of a screen device for the screen to reach a minimum height for an image to be projected by the projector on the screen,

transmit information instructing the screen device to unroll the screen, in response to receiving a user command to project an image,

after the time indicated by the obtained information lapses from when the screen started unrolling, control the projector to project an image to a region of the screen that is exposed, and

based on a size of the region of the screen that is exposed being changed as the screen is unrolled, control the projector to change a size of the projected image according to the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

7. The electronic apparatus of claim 6 , wherein

the obtained information indicates a time for the screen to reach a maximum height of the screen, and

the processor is configured to perform control to, based on the time for the screen to reach the maximum height indicated by the obtained information, control the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed when the screen reaches the maximum height.

8. The electronic apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the changing of the size of the projected image changes the size of the projected image so as to have an animation effect based on the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

9. A method performed by electronic apparatus that includes a projector, the method comprising:

transmitting information instructing a screen device to unroll a screen of the screen device, in response to receiving a user command to project an image;

while the screen is being unrolled by the screen device based on the transmitted information, controlling the projector to project an image to a region of the screen that is exposed; and

based on a size of the region of the screen that is exposed being changed as the screen is unrolled, controlling the projector to change a size of the projected image as the screen is unrolled according to the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the changing of the size of the projected image changes the size of the projected image so as to have an animation effect based on the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

11. The method of claim 9 , further comprising:

based on the screen being unrolled to a maximum height, controlling the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed.

12. The method of claim 9 , further comprising

obtaining information of the screen that includes a time from a start of unrolling of the screen for the screen to reach a minimum height for the image to be projected by the projector on the screen, and

the method comprises:

controlling the projector to start projecting the image to the region of the screen that is exposed after the time included in the obtained information elapses from when the screen started unrolling.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein

the obtained information of the screen includes a time for the screen to reach a maximum height of the screen, and

the method comprises:

based on the time for the screen to reach the maximum height included in the obtained information, controlling the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed when the screen reaches the maximum height.

14. A method performed by an electronic apparatus that includes a projector, the method comprising:

obtaining information indicating a time from a start of unrolling of a screen of a screen device for the screen to reach a minimum height for an image to be projected by the projector on the screen;

transmitting information instructing the screen device to unroll the screen, in response to receiving a user command to project an image;

after the time indicated by the obtained information lapses from when the screen started unrolling, controlling the projector to project an image to a region of the screen that is exposed; and

based on a size of the region of the screen that is exposed being changed as the screen is unrolled, controlling the projector to change a size of the projected image according to the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.

15. The method of claim 14 , wherein

the obtained information indicates a time for the screen to reach a maximum height of the screen, and

the method comprises:

based on the time for the screen to reach the maximum height indicated by the obtained information, controlling the projector to project the image to an entire region of the screen that is exposed when the screen reaches the maximum height.

16. The method of claim 14 , wherein the changing of the size of the projected image changes the size of the projected image so as to have an animation effect based on the changing size of the region of the screen that is exposed.
