Medium processing device and cash handling device
A medium processing device includes a depositing/dispensing unit that has a feeding unit into which media are fed and a shutter opening/closing the feeding unit and a foreign material storage unit that is disposed on a side opposite to the feeding unit with a gap formed in the depositing/dispensing unit interposed therebetween and stores foreign materials that have entered from the gap.
1. A medium processing device, comprising:
a depositing/dispensing unit that has a feeding unit into which media are fed and a shutter opening/closing the feeding unit; and
a foreign material storage unit that is disposed on a side opposite to the feeding unit with a gap formed in the depositing/dispensing unit interposed therebetween and stores foreign materials that have entered from the gap, wherein
the foreign material storage unit has a bottom plate part and a wall part forming a space storing the foreign materials,
an opening/closing unit that opens or closes the space is formed in at least a part of the bottom plate part or the wall part, and
the opening/closing unit is disposed to be able to open or close with an opening/closing shaft as its center.
2. The medium processing device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the opening/closing unit has the opening/closing shaft disposed on one end side and has a fixing unit on the other end side, and
wherein the fixing unit is fixed to be able to be attached/detached to/from a storage holding part disposed in the bottom plate part.
3. The medium processing device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the foreign material storage unit is composed of a storage unit that forms a space storing the foreign materials and a support unit that supports the storage unit from a lower side.
4. The medium processing device according to claim 3 , wherein at least a part of the storage unit is composed of a transparent member.
5. The medium processing device according to claim 3 , wherein, in the support unit, an opening portion is formed from an upper face at which the storage unit is positioned to a lower face.
6. The medium processing device according to claim 1 , wherein at least a part of the foreign material storage unit is composed of a transparent member.
7. The medium processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the gap is a space between the shutter and the feeding unit.
8. The medium processing device according to claim 7 ,
wherein the feeding unit has a shutter opposing part that faces the shutter,
wherein the shutter has a protrusion part,
wherein the shutter opposing part has a groove at a place facing the protrusion part,
wherein the shutter and the shutter opposing part are engaged with each other in accordance with the protrusion part entering the groove, and
wherein the gap is a space between the protrusion part and the groove.
9. The medium processing device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the foreign material storage unit has a bottom plate part and a wall part forming a space storing the foreign materials, and
wherein an end of the wall part on a feeding unit side is positioned on the feeding unit side of an end on a foreign material storage unit side in the gap.
