Abstract

A mixing method using a mixing machine including a support having a receiving housing including first receiving location configured to receive a first deformable capsule and a second receiving location configured to receive a second deformable capsule. The first and second capsules are fluidly linked and respectively contain a first formulation and a second formulation, the mixing machine includes an actuation system having a first actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the first capsule and of a second actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the second capsule. The mixing method includes a preparation phase that includes, successively: setting in motion the second actuation member; setting in motion the first actuation member, along a stroke lower than its actuation stroke; and heating by the heater element.

Claims (28)

1. A mixing method using a manufacturing apparatus comprising a mixing machine comprising a support defining a receiving housing, the receiving housing comprising a first receiving location configured to receive a first deformable capsule and a second receiving location configured to receive a second deformable capsule, the first and second capsules configured to be fluidly linked to each other and containing respectively a first formulation and a second formulation,

the mixing machine comprising an actuation system comprising a first actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the first deformable capsule and a second actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the second deformable capsule, the first and second actuation members each alternately exerting force along first and second actuation strokes, respectively,

the manufacturing apparatus comprising a heater element configured to heat at least one of the first and second deformable capsules when the first and second deformable capsules are received in the mixing machine,

the mixing method comprises:

a preparation phase, said preparation phase comprising the following steps, successively:

a first step of setting in motion the second actuation member along the second actuation stroke,

a second step of setting in motion the first actuation member along a partial actuation stroke which is smaller than the first actuation stroke, and

a step of heating by the heater element.

2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the heating step is performed up to a target temperature, wherein the target temperature of the heater element is between 80° C. and 90° C. or the heating target temperature of the heater element is such that the temperature of the first formulation is between 80° C. and 90° C.

3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the mixing machine comprises a receiving device configured to receive the first deformable capsule and the second deformable capsule.

4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the heater element is positioned in a receiving device.

5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the mixing machine comprises a first sensor for a central position of the actuation system and a second sensor for an intermediate position of the actuation system.

6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the second step of setting in motion of the first actuation member takes place along the second actuation stroke.

7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first actuation stroke in total has a length less than second actuation stroke in total.

8. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first step includes completing the second actuation stroke and the second step includes completing the partial actuation stroke.

9. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the second actuation stroke is completed before the second step begins.

10. The method according to claim 1 , wherein deformation of the second deformable capsule is greater than a deformation of the first deformable capsule after a full cycle of the first actuation stroke and the second actuation stroke.

11. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the actuation system operates along a back-and-forth motion.

12. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the heater element s positioned on the side of the first receiving location.

13. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising a mixing step, after the preparation phase heating step, comprising starting from the position of the first actuation member at an end of the second step of setting in motion until the end of the first actuation stroke,

wherein the mixing step is carried out after interruption of the heater element and allowing combining the first and second formulations to form a composition.

14. The method according to claim 13 , further comprising, after the mixing step, a kneading step through a back-and-forth motion of the actuation system.

15. The method according to claim 14 , wherein the kneading step comprises a first step of kneading without heating and a second step of kneading with heating.

16. The method according to claim 14 , wherein the kneading step comprises a step of cooling with kneading, during which the temperature of the composition decreases to a withdrawal temperature.

17. A manufacturing apparatus for the manufacture of a composition comprising a mixing machine comprising a support defining a receiving housing, the receiving housing comprising a first receiving location configured to receive a first deformable capsule and a second receiving location configured to receive a second deformable capsule, the first and second deformable capsules configured to be fluidly linked to each other and containing respectively a first formulation and a second formulation,

the mixing machine comprising an actuation system comprising a first actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the first deformable capsule and a second actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the second deformable capsule, the actuation members alternately exerting force along first and second actuation strokes, respectively,

the manufacturing apparatus further comprising a heater element configured to heat at least one of the first and second deformable capsules when the first and second deformable capsules are received in the mixing machine,

wherein the manufacturing apparatus is configured to implement the mixing method according to claim 1 .
