Abstract

Disclosed herein are radiotherapy methods and systems that can display a workflow-oriented graphical user interface(s). In an embodiment, a method comprises presenting, by a server, a graphical user interface for display on a screen positioned on a gantry of a radiotherapy machine, wherein the graphical user interface comprises a page corresponding to a radiotherapy treatment of a patient, wherein the page comprises a first graphical element indicating at least one attribute of the alignment data corresponding to the radiotherapy treatment of the patient.

Claims (34)

1. A method comprising:

presenting, by a server, a graphical user interface for display on a screen in communication with a radiotherapy machine,

wherein the graphical user interface comprises a page corresponding to a radiotherapy treatment of a patient,

wherein the page comprises a first graphical element indicating at least one attribute of alignment data corresponding to the radiotherapy treatment of the patient,

wherein the at least one attribute of the alignment data corresponds to an angle of the patient during the radiotherapy treatment, and

wherein the graphical user interface comprises an outline of the patient positioned on a couch of the radiotherapy machine.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the screen is located on a gantry of the radiotherapy machine.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first graphical element is visually distinct when an angle of a position of a patient is different than an angle indicated within the alignment data.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the page further comprises a second graphical element indicating at least one necessary accessory for the radiotherapy treatment of the patient.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the page corresponds to a stage within a set of stages of the radiotherapy treatment.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating the stage.

7. The method of claim 5 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating a subsequent stage.

8. The method of claim 5 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating a preceding stage.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein a user interacts with the graphical user interface via a pendant in communication with the server.

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

in response to receiving an indication that a user operating the graphical user interface has interacted with the graphical user interface, transitioning, by the server, the graphical user interface to a different stage.

11. A system comprising:

a radiotherapy machine having a couch and a gantry;

a screen; and

a server comprising a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:

present a graphical user interface for display on the screen in communication with the radiotherapy machine,

wherein the graphical user interface comprises a page corresponding to a radiotherapy treatment of a patient,

wherein the page comprises a first graphical element indicating at least one attribute of alignment data corresponding to the radiotherapy treatment of the patient,

wherein the at least one attribute of the alignment data corresponds to an angle of the patient during the radiotherapy treatment, and

wherein the graphical user interface comprises an outline of the patient positioned on the couch of the radiotherapy machine.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the screen is located on the gantry of the radiotherapy machine.

13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the first graphical element is visually distinct when an angle of a position of a patient is different than an angle indicated within the alignment data.

14. The system of claim 11 , wherein the page further comprises a second graphical element indicating at least one necessary accessory for the radiotherapy treatment of the patient.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the page corresponds to a stage within a set of stages of the radiotherapy treatment.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating the stage.

17. The system of claim 15 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating a subsequent stage.

18. The system of claim 15 , wherein the page further comprises a third graphical element indicating a preceding stage.

19. The system of claim 11 , further comprising a pendant in communication with the server, wherein a user interacts with the graphical user interface via the pendant.

20. The system of claim 11 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to transition the graphical user interface to a different stage in response to receiving an indication that a user operating the graphical user interface has interacted with the graphical user interface.
