Abstract

An electronic device includes a light emitting unit and a light controlling means. The light controlling means is disposed on the light emitting unit, wherein an included angle of an emitting light of the light emitting unit which at least passes through the light controlling means along a horizontal direction is greater than an included angle of the emitting light of the light emitting unit which at least passes through the light controlling means along a vertical direction. The horizontal direction is defined as a direction parallel to a floor and the vertical direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the floor.

Claims (10)

1. An electronic device, comprising:

a light emitting unit; and

a light controlling structure disposed on the light emitting unit, wherein an included angle of an emitting light of the light emitting unit which at least passes through the light controlling structure along a horizontal direction is greater than an included angle of the emitting light of the light emitting unit which at least passes through the light controlling structure along a vertical direction;

wherein the horizontal direction is defined as a direction parallel to a floor and the vertical direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the floor;

wherein the light controlling structure is a non-adjustable collimator.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is disposed in a vehicle, the horizontal direction is defined as a direction parallel to a floor of the vehicle, and the vertical direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the floor of the vehicle.

3. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the light emitting unit comprises a self-luminous type light emitting component.

4. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the light emitting unit comprises a portion of a backlight module.

5. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the light controlling structure comprises a plurality of collimating walls, and the plurality of collimating walls arrange in the vertical direction and extend along the horizontal direction.

6. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the light controlling structure comprises a plurality of collimating walls, one of the plurality of collimating walls has a first surface adjacent to the light emitting unit and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a width of the first surface is greater than a width of the second surface.
