display, contemporaneously on the local display and on the remote display, indicia of a primary firing path of the staple-firing system on the corresponding image of the tissue of the patient, wherein the primary firing path is indicative of a line of staples to be applied into the tissue of the patient by the staple-firing system.

2. The surgical system of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to display, contemporaneously on the local display and on the remote display, indicia of an alternative firing path of the staple-firing system on the corresponding image of the tissue of the patient, wherein the alternative firing path is indicative of an alternative line of staples to be applied into the tissue of the patient by the staple-firing system.

3. The surgical stapler system of claim 1 , wherein the local display comprises a touchscreen and the controller is configured to receive a user input via the touchscreen of the local display and control the operation of the staple-firing system based on the user input.

4. The surgical stapler system of claim 3 , wherein the controller is configured to modify the primary firing path of the staple-firing system based on the user input and update the indicia of the primary firing path displayed on the image of the tissue of the patient displayed by both the local display and the remote display based on the modified primary firing path.

5. The surgical stapler system of claim 3 , wherein the controller is configured to modify a speed of the staple-firing system based on the user input.

6. The surgical stapler system of claim 3 , wherein the user input defines a fault threshold value of the operation of the staple-firing system and wherein the controller is configured to control the operation of the staple-firing system based on the fault threshold value.

7. The surgical stapler system of claim 1 , wherein the remote display comprises a touchscreen and the controller is configured to receive a user input via the touchscreen of the remote display and control the operation of the staple-firing system based on the user input.

8. The surgical stapler system of claim 7 , wherein the controller is configured to modify the primary firing path of the staple-firing system based on the user input and update the indicia of the primary firing path displayed on the image of the tissue of the patient displayed by both the local display and the remote display based on the modified primary firing path.

9. The surgical stapler system of claim 7 , wherein the controller is configured to modify a speed of the staple-firing system based on the user input.

10. The surgical stapler system of claim 7 , wherein the user input defines a fault threshold value of the operation of the staple-firing system and wherein the controller is configured to control the operation of the staple-firing system based on the fault threshold value.

11. The surgical stapler system of claim 1 , further comprising a vision acquisition system configured to generate the image of the tissue of the patient to be stapled by the staple-firing system.

12. The surgical stapler system of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to display a set of information related to the operation of the staple-firing system on the remote display and display a summary of the set of information on the local display.

13. A surgical stapler system comprising:

a remote display; and

a surgical stapler comprising:

a staple-firing system configured to apply a plurality of staples into a tissue of a patient;

a local display; and

a controller in communication with the remote display and the local display, wherein the controller is configured to:

control operation of the staple-firing system to apply the staples into the tissue of the patient;

display, contemporaneously on the local display and on the remote display, an image of the tissue of the patient to be stapled by the staple-firing system;

display, contemporaneously on the local display and on the remote display, indicia of a primary firing path of the staple-firing system on the corresponding image of the tissue of the patient, wherein the primary firing path is indicative of a line of staples to be applied into the tissue of the patient by the staple-firing system; and

display, contemporaneously on the local display and on the remote display, indicia of an alternative firing path of the staple-firing system on the corresponding image of the tissue of the patient, wherein the alternative firing path is indicative of an alternative line of staples to be applied into the tissue of the patient by the staple-firing system.

14. The surgical stapler system of claim 13 , wherein the local display or the remote display comprises a touchscreen and the controller is configured to receive a user input via the touchscreen and control the operation of the staple-firing system based on the user input.
