Abstract

A shower head to jet an air bubble-liquid mixture by mixing air bubbles into the liquid includes a shower nozzle, a flow-adjustment piece, and air introduction passages. The shower nozzle includes an air bubble mixing space. The flow-adjustment piece is arranged in the air bubble mixing space. The air introduction passages cause air to flow into the air bubble mixing space therethrough.

Claims (23)

1. A mist generating unit arranged on a shower nozzle plate, and configured to form a liquid having flowed out through an outflow passage into a mist of liquid droplets in which air bubbles are mixed and dissolved, the mist generating unit comprising:

a plurality of mist throttle holes, which are formed to pass through the shower nozzle plate having a hole length between a disk front surface and a disk back flat surface of the shower nozzle plate, are opened in the disk front surface and the disk back flat surface of the shower nozzle plate, and communicate from the disk back flat surface of the shower nozzle plate with the outflow passage;

a mist ring body;

wherein the mist ring body includes a guide ring having a plurality of guide protrusions;

wherein the mist ring body includes a plurality of mist guides, which are each formed into a conical spiral shape with a height set smaller than the hole length of each of the mist throttle holes, and each includes first and second spiral surfaces each having the same spiral shape;

wherein the guide protrusions are each arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the guide ring;

wherein the guide protrusions are each formed to protrude in a direction orthogonal to a center line of the guide ring, and are each formed integrally with the guide ring;

wherein the mist throttle holes are each arranged at intervals and each formed into a conical hole which passes through the shower nozzle plate, has a diameter gradually reducing from the disk back flat surface of the shower nozzle plate of the outflow passage side, and is opened in the disk front surface of the shower nozzle plate,

wherein the first and second spiral surfaces are arranged between a cone bottom flat surface and a cone upper surface of each of the mist guides to cross a cone side surface of each of the mist guides,

wherein the first and second spiral surfaces are arranged so as to be point symmetrical with respect to a cone center line of each of the mist guides,

wherein the first spiral surface is formed into a spiral shape having a diameter gradually reducing from the cone bottom flat surface toward the cone upper surface along the second spiral surface,

wherein the second spiral surface is formed into a spiral shape having a diameter gradually reducing from the cone bottom flat surface toward the cone upper surface along the first spiral surface;

wherein each of the mist guides is arranged between each of the guide protrusions at intervals in the peripheral direction of the guide ring;

wherein each of the mist guides is arranged so that a surface end of the first spiral surface and a surface end of the second spiral surface are respectively located at an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface of the guide ring at the cone bottom flat surface;

wherein each of the mist guides is fixed integrally with the guide ring so that the cone bottom flat surface is held in abutment against the guide ring;

wherein the cone bottom flat surface is fixed to the guide ring so as to protrude from the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the guide ring in the direction orthogonal to the center line of the guide ring;

wherein each of the mist guides is inserted into each of the mist throttle holes from the cone upper surface with a gap between the cone side surface and a conical inner peripheral surface of each of the mist throttle holes,

wherein each of the mist guides defines a first mist flow passage having a spiral shape between the first spiral surface, the conical inner peripheral surface, and the cone side surface,

wherein each of the mist guides defines a second mist flow passage having a spiral shape between the second spiral surface, the conical inner peripheral surface, and the cone side surface;

wherein along with insertion of the mist guides into the mist throttle holes, the guide protrusions are each brought into abutment against the disk back flat surface of the shower nozzle plate;

wherein the first mist flow passage is defined in a spiral shape to extend along the second mist flow passage from the cone bottom flat surface toward the cone upper surface, communicates with the outflow passage, and is opened into each of the mist throttle holes between the disk front surface of the shower nozzle plate and the cone upper surface,

wherein the second mist flow passage is defined in a spiral shape to extend along the first mist flow passage from the cone bottom flat surface toward the cone upper surface, communicates with the outflow passage, and is opened into each of the mist throttle holes between the disk front surface of the shower nozzle plate and the cone upper surface,

wherein the first and second mist flow passages jet the liquid flowing through each of the mist flow passages into each of the mist throttle holes between the disk front surface of the shower nozzle plate and the cone upper surface to jet a mist of liquid droplets in which ultrafine bubbles are mixed and dissolved from each of the mist throttle holes.
