Systems and related methods arranged to improve public safety agency access to phone-based information and communications with citizens. A first system enables a user to gather, store, access and share phone information associated with public safety agency activities including by retaining phone information and “in the hand” user information. Claims (13)

1. A system configured to improve an operation of a computing device to enable a user to gather, store, access and share phone information associated with public safety agency activities, the system comprising:

the computing device arranged for access to an internet and having stored thereon computer-executable instructions configured to cause the computer device to implement the computer-executable instructions;

a database of information accessible through the computing device, wherein the information of the database includes phone information and phone user information;

a phone number upload function arranged to enable a system user to post one or more phone numbers of one or more parties and information associated with ownership of a phone associated with an uploaded phone number received from one or more willing participants;

a phone number integration function arranged to enable integration in the database of uploaded phone information across formats of a plurality of public safety agencies;

a phone number search function arranged to enable the system user to access the uploaded phone information; and

a phone number access function arranged to restrict access to the database of information based on a public safety purpose and to system users that share similar information from their respective jurisdictions,

wherein the information of the database is configured for use to identify subjects of interest and interactions between the subjects of interest and participating public safety agencies.

2. The system of claim 1 further comprising a user authentication function as an aspect of the phone number access function.

3. The system of claim 1 wherein the phone number search function is configured to enable cross checking of information contained in the database.

4. The system of claim 1 wherein the phone number upload function is configured to enable matching of a subject of interest and circumstances surrounding phone usage.

5. The system of claim 1 further comprising a second distinct database configured for storage of information generated by a specific public safety agency that is not sharable with any other public safety agency.
