Abstract

A hair dryer is disclosed. The hair dryer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main body unit comprising a gas outlet part through which gas is discharged; a grip unit extending from the main body unit; a gas inlet part which is positioned in the main body unit or the grip unit, through which gas is introduced from the outside, and which is in communication with the gas outlet part; a gas flow path which allows the gas inlet part and the gas outlet part to be in communication with each other in the main body unit; and a fan unit provided on the gas flow path to flow the gas, wherein the gas outlet part comprises a center hole and a ring-shaped side hole that surrounds the center hole, the center hole and the side hole being in communication with the gas flow path to allow the gas to be discharged through each hole.

Claims (55)

1. A hair dryer comprising:

a main body including a gas outlet portion disposed thereon for discharging a gas;

a handle extending from the main body;

a gas inlet portion located on the main body or the handle,

wherein the gas is introduced into the gas inlet portion from an outside of the hair dryer, and

wherein the gas inlet portion is in communication with the gas outlet portion;

a gas flow path defined inside the main body to communicate the gas inlet portion with the gas outlet portion; and

a fan disposed on the gas flow path to blow the gas,

wherein the gas outlet portion includes a center hole defined therein and a ring-shaped side hole defined therein for surrounding the center hole, and

wherein the center hole and the ring-shaped side hole are in communication with the gas flow path together to respectively discharge the gas.

2. The hair dryer of claim 1 ,

wherein the gas outlet portion further includes a base coupled to an opened one side of the main body, and

wherein the base has the center hole located at a center thereof and the ring-shaped side hole defined between an outer circumferential surface of the base and an outer wall of the main body.

3. The hair dryer of claim 2 , wherein the base is indented inward the main body from the ring-shaped side hole toward the center hole.

4. The hair dryer of claim 2 ,

wherein the opened one side of the main body corresponds to an end of the gas flow path, and

wherein the gas flowing through the gas flow path is simultaneously transferred to the center hole and the ring-shaped side hole and then is discharged to the outside of the hair dryer.

5. The hair dryer of claim 2 ,

wherein the gas outlet portion further includes a guide cone disposed at a center of the center hole to guide the flow of the gas from an interior of the main body toward the center hole, and

wherein the gas is discharged between an inner surface of the center hole and the guide cone.

6. The hair dryer of claim 5 ,

wherein the guide cone has a first guide cone end protruding toward the gas flow path and a second guide cone end, opposite to the first guide cone end, protruding in a gas discharge direction of the center hole, and

wherein each of the first guide cone end and the second guide cone end of the guide cone has a cone shape.

7. The hair dryer of claim 5 , wherein the gas outlet portion further includes a guide ring disposed on the inner surface of the center hole and protruding in the gas discharge direction of the center hole to guide, with the guide cone, the flow of the gas from the interior of the main body toward the center hole.

8. The hair dryer of claim 1 , further comprising:

a concentrator coupled to the main body,

wherein the concentrator receives the gas discharged from the gas outlet portion and discharges received the gas to the outside of the hair dryer,

wherein the concentrator includes:

a first flow path for flowing the gas discharged from the center hole therealong; and

a second flow path divided from the first flow path for flowing the gas discharged from the ring-shaped side hole therealong.

9. The hair dryer of claim 8 ,

wherein the concentrator further includes a third flow path in communication with the first flow path and the second flow path together,

wherein the third flow path includes a discharge hole defined therein, and

wherein a mixture of the gas from the first flow path and the gas from the second flow path is discharged to the outside of the hair dryer through the discharge hole.

10. The hair dryer of claim 9 , wherein the concentrator further includes:

a nozzle having a first nozzle end facing the main body and coupled to the main body,

wherein a diameter of the nozzle decreases as being farther away from the main body; and

a discharge portion extending from a second nozzle end of the nozzle, opposite to the first nozzle end of the nozzle, and having the discharge hole defined therein.

11. The hair dryer of claim 10 ,

wherein the first flow path and the second flow path are located inside the nozzle, and

wherein the third flow path is located inside the discharge portion.

12. The hair dryer of claim 11 , wherein the concentrator further includes:

an outer case for forming outer surfaces of the nozzle and the discharge portion; and

a flow path forming portion disposed in an internal space of the nozzle and having a shape corresponding to the nozzle,

wherein an outer surface of the flow path forming portion is spaced apart from an inner surface of the outer case,

wherein an end of the flow path forming portion facing the discharge portion is opened, and

wherein the first flow path corresponds to an internal space of the flow path forming portion and the second flow path corresponds to a separation space between the flow path forming portion and the outer case.

13. The hair dryer of claim 12 ,

wherein an end of the outer case facing the gas outlet portion is coupled to an outer wall of the main body, and

wherein the end of the flow path forming portion facing the gas outlet portion is in contact with a base to divide the first flow path and the second flow path from each other.

14. The hair dryer of claim 12 , wherein the outer case includes a heat insulating layer between an outer surface and the inner surface thereof.

15. The hair dryer of claim 1 ,

wherein the gas inlet portion is located at an end of the handle,

wherein the gas flow path extends from an interior of the main body to an interior of the handle, and

wherein the fan is located inside the handle.
