Abstract

A vehicle for supporting multi-use of content of a vehicle includes a memory to store the content, and a processor operatively connected to the memory. The processor collects multiple pieces of delay characteristic information of a plurality of output devices by performing a scan operation, if a request is made to reproduce the content stored in the memory, select, as a service group, a predetermined percentage of output devices, which satisfy a specific delay characteristic value, among the plurality of output devices, and transmit the content to the service group, a method for multi-use of the content of the vehicle, and a computing system using the same.

Claims (62)

1 . A vehicle comprising:

a memory configured to store instructions and content; and

a processor operatively connected to the memory and configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:

obtaining, based on a request being received to reproduce the content, delay characteristic information of a plurality of output devices by performing a scan operation;

selecting a service group comprising a predetermined percentage of output devices that satisfy a specific delay characteristic value from among the plurality of output devices; and

transmitting the content to the service group.

2 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein selecting the service group comprises:

determining signal strengths of the plurality of output devices,

selecting a service target group comprising one or more output devices having a signal strength greater than or equal to a preset reference strength, and

selecting the service group from the service target group.

3 . The vehicle of claim 2 , wherein selecting the service target group comprises:

selecting, as the specific delay characteristic value, a largest minimum value among the delay characteristic information of the output devices within the service target group, which ranges from the minimum value to the maximum value.

4 . The vehicle of claim 3 , wherein the operations further comprise:

calculating a delay characteristic margin range value by applying a preset margin to the specific delay characteristic value, and

determining output devices having delay characteristic values including at least a portion of the delay characteristic margin range value.

5 . The vehicle of claim 4 , wherein the operations further comprise:

reselecting, as the specific delay characteristic value, a next largest minimum value among the delay characteristic information, based on a calculated percentage of a number of the output devices being less than a reference ratio.

6 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

transmitting (i) a decryption key to output devices within the service group and (ii) streaming the content.

7 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

based on the content being video content, transmitting the content by selecting the service group.

8 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

based on (i) an engine of the vehicle being turned on after being turned off or (ii) an input being received at the vehicle, transmitting the content by selecting the service group.

9 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

based on a request being received to reproduce new video content, transmitting the content by selecting the service group.

10 . The vehicle of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

based on a passenger of the vehicle entering or exiting the vehicle, transmitting the content by selecting the service group.

11 . A method comprising:

receiving, by a processor of a vehicle, a request for reproducing content stored in a memory;

performing, based on the request being received, a scan operation to obtain delay characteristic information of a plurality of output devices;

selecting a service group comprising a predetermined percentage of output devices that satisfy a specific delay characteristic value from among the plurality of output devices; and

transmitting the content to the service group.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein selecting the service group comprises:

determining signal strengths of the plurality of output devices,

selecting a service target group comprising one or more output devices having a signal strength greater than or equal to a preset reference strength, and

selecting the service group among the service target group.

13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein selecting the predetermined percentage of output devices as the service group includes:

selecting, as the specific delay characteristic value, a largest minimum value from the delay characteristic information of the output devices within the service target group, which ranges from the minimum value to the maximum value.

14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:

calculating a delay characteristic margin range value by applying a preset margin to the specific delay characteristic value;

determining output devices having delay characteristic values including at least a portion of the delay characteristic margin range value; and

reselecting, as the specific delay characteristic value, a next largest minimum value among the delay characteristic information, based on a calculated percentage of a number of the output devices being less than a reference ratio.

15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein transmitting the content includes:

transmitting (i) a decryption key to output devices within the service group and (ii) streaming the content.

16 . The method of claim 12 , wherein transmitting the content includes:

based on the content being video content, transmitting the content by selecting the service group; and

based on the content being audio content, transmitting the audio content to an entire portion of the service target group.

17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein obtaining the delay characteristic information is performed based on (i) an engine of the vehicle being turned on after being turned off, (ii) an input being received at the vehicle, (iii) a request to reproduce new video content being received, or (iv) a passenger of the vehicle entering or exiting the vehicle.

18 . A computing system of a vehicle, the computing system comprising:

a processor configured to support a vehicle operation; and

a memory configured to store at least one instruction to operate the processor,

wherein the at least instruction stored in the memory causes the processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving a request for reproducing content stored in the memory;

performing, based on the request being received, a scan operation to obtain delay characteristic information of a plurality of output devices;

selecting a service group comprising a predetermined percentage of output devices that satisfy a specific delay characteristic value from among the plurality of output devices; and

transmitting the content to the service group.

19 . The computing system of claim 18 , wherein selecting the service group comprises:

determining signal strengths of the plurality of output devices through the scan operation,

selecting, as a service target group, one or more output devices having a signal strength greater than or equal to a preset reference strength, and

selecting the service group among the service target group.

20 . The computing system of claim 19 , wherein transmitting the content comprises:

transmitting a decryption key to output devices belonging within the service group.
