Abstract

Claims (43)

1 . A vacuum adiabatic body comprising:

a first plate;

a second plate;

a vacuum space to be provided between the first plate and the second plate;

a shield disposed outside the vacuum space and configured to provide an adiabatic performance; and

a side frame having a first surface to face the shield and a second surface to face the vacuum space,

wherein the first surface of the side frame is to be insulated by the shield without the first surface being exposed to an outside of the shield,

wherein the second surface of the side frame is to be insulated by the vacuum space, without the second surface being exposed to an outside of the vacuum space,

wherein the side frame disposed at a side of the vacuum adiabatic body to define a wall of the vacuum space between the first plate and the second plate,

wherein the side frame is formed to be bent at least twice such that a first bend is between a first side frame portion and a second side frame portion of the side frame, and a second bend is between the second side frame portion and a third side frame portion of the side frame, and the shield is in contact with the first side frame portion, the first bend, the second side frame portion, the second bend and the third side frame portion of the side frame from outside the vacuum space.

2 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 1 , comprising a conductive resistance sheet configured to reduce heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate, the conductive resistance sheet having a first surface and a second surface.

3 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 2 , wherein the first surface of the conductive resistance sheet is to be heat-insulated by the shield provided adjacent to the conductive resistance sheet.

4 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 3 , wherein the second surface of the conductive resistance sheet is to be heat-insulated by the vacuum space.

5 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 2 , wherein the vacuum adiabatic body is configured such that heat that passes through the conductive resistance sheet is to transfer to the shield.

6 . The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 2 ,

comprising a gasket is adjacent to the conductive resistance sheet and is configured to insulate the conductive resistance sheet.

7 . A vacuum adiabatic body comprising:

a first plate;

a second plate;

a vacuum space to be provided between the first plate and the second plate;

a conductive resistance sheet configured to reduce heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate; and

a side frame having a first surface and a second surface, disposed at a side of the vacuum adiabatic body to define a wall of the vacuum space,

wherein the first surface of the side frame is to be insulated by a mounting part and a gasket disposed on the mounting part without the first surface being exposed to an outside of the mounting part and the gasket,

wherein the gasket has a protrusion disposed between the side frame and the mounting part,

wherein the conduction resistance sheet is disposed at a position overlapping with the gasket,

wherein a length (d1) of the side frame in the first direction is longer than a length (d2) from an edge of the first plate to one side of the gasket, and

wherein the gasket is disposed at a position biased toward the side frame.

8 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 7 , wherein the second surface of the side frame is to be insulated by the vacuum space, without the second surface being exposed to an outside of the vacuum space.

9 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 7 , wherein a contact area between the gasket and the side frame is larger than a contact area between the gasket and the first plate.

10 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 6 , wherein a first surface of the shield contacts the conductive resistance sheet, and a second surface of the shield contacts the gasket.

11 . The vacuum adiabatic body according to claim 6 , wherein the conduction resistance sheet is disposed at a position overlapping with the shield, or the conduction resistance sheet is disposed at a position overlapping with the gasket.

12 . The vacuum adiabatic body of claim 1 , wherein the shield includes an adiabatic extension that extends toward a center of the first plate, the adiabatic extension shielding the conductive resistance sheet.

13 . A vacuum adiabatic body comprising:

a first plate;

a second plate;

a vacuum space to be provided between the first plate and the second plate;

a shield disposed outside the vacuum space and configured to provide an adiabatic performance;

a conductive resistance sheet configured to reduce heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate; and

a side frame having a first surface to face the shield and a second surface to face the vacuum space,

wherein the first surface of the side frame is to be insulated by the shield without the first surface being exposed to an outside of the shield,

wherein the second surface of the side frame is to be insulated by the vacuum space, without the second surface being exposed to an outside of the vacuum space,

wherein a gasket is provided at one side of the shield, wherein the other side of the shield contacts the conductive resistance sheet, and the one side of the shield contacts the gasket,

wherein the conduction resistance sheet is disposed at a position overlapping with the shield, or the conduction resistance sheet is disposed at a position overlapping with the gasket.
