Abstract

In some implementations, a user device may present, on a user interface, an arc-shaped user interface element. The user device may detect a user interaction that indicates a first point on the arc-shaped user interface element. The user device may present, on the user interface, a first arc portion of the arc. The first arc portion may represent a first amount, of a total amount, to be associated with a first user account. A second arc portion may represent a second amount, of the total amount, associated with the second user account. The user device may transmit, to an account management device, information that identifies the first amount, of the total amount, to be associated with the first user account.

Claims (75)

1 . A method comprising:

causing, by a device, a first user device to present on a user interface of the first user device, an arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the arc-shaped user interface element includes a first end, a second end, and an arc spanning from the first end to the second end,

wherein the arc represents a total amount, and

wherein the arc-shaped user interface element is a specific size;

receiving, by the device and from the first user device, information of an adjustment of a first arc portion of the arc,

wherein the first arc portion of the arc spans from the first end to a first point on the arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the first arc portion represents a first amount, of the total amount,

wherein one or more other arc portions include a second arc portion of the arc, spanning from the second end to a second point, that represents a second amount, of the total amount,

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not change the specific size of the arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the second arc portion is not editable via user interaction with the first user device, and

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not affect the second amount, between the second point to the second end;

causing, by the device, a second user device to present, on a user interface of the second user device, the arc-shaped user interface element; and

receiving, by the device and from the second user device, an adjustment in the second arc portion of the arc which corresponds to an adjustment of the second amount.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

causing the first user device to present, on the user interface, a third arc portion of the arc, spanning from the first end to a third point,

wherein the third arc portion represents an actual amount contributed toward the total amount.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first arc portion is presented in a different color or using a different fill pattern than the second arc portion.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more other arc portions include a differential arc portion of the arc, spanning from the first point to the second point, that represents a difference between the total amount and a sum of the first amount and the second amount.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the first arc portion is presented using a first visual attribute,

wherein the second arc portion is presented using a second visual attribute that is different from the first visual attribute, and

wherein the differential arc portion is presented using a visual attribute that is different from both the first visual attribute and the second visual attribute.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

causing the first user device to display the first amount based on a length of the first arc portion, a length of the arc, and the total amount, wherein a ratio of the first amount to the total amount is equal to a ratio of the length of the first arc portion to the length of the arc.

7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving information that identifies the total amount.

8 . A device comprising:

one or more processors configured to:

cause a first user device to present, on a user interface of the first user device, an arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the arc-shaped user interface element includes a first end, a second end, and an arc spanning from the first end to the second end, and

wherein the arc represents a total amount;

receive, from the first user device, information of an adjustment of present, on the user interface, a first arc portion of the arc,

wherein the first arc portion of the arc spans from the first end to a first point on the arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the first arc portion represents a first amount of the total amount,

wherein one or more other arc portions include a second arc portion of the arc, spanning from the second end to a second point,

wherein the second arc portion represents a second amount of the total amount,

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not change a total size of the arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the second arc portion is not editable via a user interaction with the first user device, and

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not affect the second amount, between the second point to the second end;

cause a second user device to present, on a user interface of the second user device, the arc-shaped user interface element; and

receive, from the second user device, an adjustment in the second arc portion of the arc which corresponds to an adjustment of the second amount.

9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:

receive information that indicates a third point on the first arc portion of the arc; and

cause, on the first user device, a display, on the user interface, of a third arc portion of the arc, spanning from the first end to the third point,

wherein the third arc portion represents an actual amount contributed toward the total amount.

10 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the first arc portion is presented in a different color or using a different fill pattern than the second arc portion.

11 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:

receive information that identifies the first amount, of the total amount, to be associated with an account.

12 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the arc-shaped user interface element visually indicates individually pledged contributions of two users.

13 . The device of claim 8 , wherein adjusting the second amount changes the second arc portion of the arc-shaped user interface element.

14 . The device of claim 8 , wherein adjusting the first amount changes the first arc portion of the arc-shaped user interface element.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions, the set of instructions comprising:

one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a first network device, cause the first network device to:

cause a first user device to present, on a user interface of the first user device, an arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the arc-shaped user interface element includes a first end, a second end, and an arc spanning from the first end to the second end, wherein the arc represents a total amount, and

wherein the arc-shaped user interface element is a specific size;

receive, from the first user device, information of an adjustment of a first arc portion of the arc,

wherein the first arc portion of the arc spans from the first end to a first point on the arc-shaped user interface element,

wherein the first arc portion represents a first amount, of the total amount,

wherein one or more other arc portions include a second arc portion of the arc, spanning from the second end to a second point, that represents a second amount, of the total amount,

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not change the specific size of the arc-shaped user interface element, and

wherein the adjustment of the first arc portion does not affect the second amount, between the second point to the second end;

cause a second user device to present, on a user interface of the second user device, the arc-shaped user interface element; and

receive, from the second user device, an adjustment in the second arc portion of the arc which corresponds to an adjustment of the second amount.

16 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the second arc portion is not editable via a user interaction with the user interface.

17 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the first arc portion is not editable via a user interaction with the user interface.

18 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the first network device to:

cause the first user device to present a slidable user interface element on the user interface when a user interaction with the arc-shaped user interface element is detected, and

cause the first user device to remove the slidable user interface element from the arc-shaped user interface element when the user interaction with the arc-shaped user interface element ends.

19 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the first network device to:

cause the first user device to present, on the user interface of the first user device, a third arc portion of the arc, spanning from the first point to the second point, in a different visual manner than the first arc portion and the second arc portion,

wherein the third arc portion represents a difference between the total amount and the combination of the first amount and the second amount.

20 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the first network device to:

cause the first user device to present, on the user interface, a third arc portion of the arc, spanning from the first point to a third point, in a different visual manner than the first arc portion, wherein the third arc portion represents an actual amount contributed toward the total amount; and
