Abstract

A reusable shipper container has a container body with a payload chamber for holding goods and a lid operable to access the payload chamber. The reusable shipper container also has a tablet display screen detachably coupled to the container body. The reusable shipper container also has an inner lid assembly with one or more doors selectively movable between a first position over the payload chamber to close the payload chamber, and a second position to allow access to the payload chamber. The reusable shipper container can have a display screen on an underside of the lid that can auto-display information or autoplay videos, for example, when the lid is open and/or the shipper container has arrived at its destination.

Claims (32)

1 . A reusable portable shipper container, comprising:

a container body having a payload chamber configured to receive one or more goods;

a lid pivotally, sliding or removably coupled to the container body and actuatable to access the payload chamber;

an inner lid assembly separate from the lid, the inner lid assembly disposed over the payload chamber and having one or more doors selectively movable between a first position over the payload chamber to close at least a portion of the payload chamber, and a second position to allow access to the payload chamber;

a pack of thermal mass or phase change material disposed proximate the one or more doors and configured to be disposed over the one or more goods in the payload chamber when the one or more doors are in the first position; and

an electronic display screen on an underside of the lid so that the electronic display screen faces toward the payload chamber when the lid is in a closed position relative to the container body.

The reusable portable shipper container of claim 1 , wherein the one or more doors of the inner lid assembly comprises a first door and a second door pivotally coupled to the container body over the payload chamber, the pack comprising a first pack and a second pack attached to an underside of the first door and an underside of the second door, respectively.

3 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 1 , wherein the pack is removably coupleable to the one or more doors.

4 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 1 , wherein the pack is a single piece with the one or more doors and pivotally coupled to a hinge pin coupled to the container body above the payload chamber.

The reusable portable shipper container of claim 1 , wherein the electronic display screen on the underside of the lid is configured to autoplay one or more videos or automatically display instructions or automatically display information or automatically display advertisements to a user upon receipt of a signal that the lid has been opened.

6 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 5 , further comprising one or more sensors configured to sense when the lid is opened relative to the container body and to generate and send the signal.

The reusable portable shipper container of claim 5 wherein the electronic display screen on the underside of the lid is configured to autoplay one or more videos or automatically display instructions or automatically display information or automatically display advertisements to a user upon receipt of a signal that the lid has been opened and another signal indicating the shipper container has arrived at its destination.

8 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 1 , wherein the pack is slidably coupleable to the one or more doors.

9 . A reusable portable shipper container, comprising:

a container body having a payload chamber configured to receive one or more goods;

a lid pivotally, sliding or removably coupled to the container body and actuatable to access the payload chamber;

an inner lid assembly separate from the lid, the inner lid assembly disposed over the payload chamber and having one or more doors selectively movable between a first position over the payload chamber to close at least a portion of the payload chamber, and a second position to allow access to the payload chamber; and

a pack of thermal mass or phase change material disposed proximate the one or more doors and configured to be disposed over the one or more goods in the payload chamber when the one or more doors are in the first position.

10 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 9 , further comprising one or more GPS sensors configured to track a location of the container body.

The reusable portable shipper container of claim 9 , wherein the one or more doors of the inner lid assembly comprises a first door and a second door pivotally coupled to the container body over the payload chamber, the pack comprising a first pack and a second pack attached to an underside of the first door and an underside of the second door, respectively.

12 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 11 , wherein the inner lid assembly is detachable from the container body.

13 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 9 , wherein the pack is removably coupleable to the one or more doors.

14 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 9 , wherein the pack is a single piece with the one or more doors and pivotally coupled to a hinge pin coupled to the container body above the payload chamber.

15 . A reusable portable shipper container, comprising:

a container body having a payload chamber configured to receive one or more goods;

a lid pivotally, sliding or removably coupled to the container body and actuatable to access the payload chamber; and

an electronic display screen on an underside of the lid so that the electronic display screen faces toward the payload chamber when the lid is in a closed position relative to the container body.

16 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 15 , wherein the payload chamber is vacuum insulated via a plurality of vacuum panels that define or surround the payload chamber.

17 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 15 , wherein the electronic display screen on the underside of the lid is configured to autoplay one or more videos or automatically display instructions or automatically display information or automatically display advertisements to a user upon receipt of a signal that the lid has been opened.

18 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 17 , further comprising one or more sensors configured to sense when the lid is opened relative to the container body and to generate and send the signal indicating the lid is open.

19 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 17 , wherein the electronic display screen on the underside of the lid is configured to autoplay one or more videos or automatically display instructions or automatically display information or automatically display advertisements to a user upon receipt of a signal that the lid has been opened and another signal indicating the shipper container has arrived at its destination.

20 . The reusable portable shipper container of claim 15 , wherein the electronic display screen on the underside of the lid powered by a standalone battery, or powered by a removable battery, or powered by a rechargeable battery.
