Coordination information transmission for sidelink inter-UE coordination
A first wireless device transmits a first sidelink transmission via a first resource, where the first sidelink transmission includes a field indicating resource reservation of a second resource for a second sidelink transmission by the first wireless device. Based on an absence of an acknowledgement (ACK) corresponding to the first sidelink transmission, the first wireless device determines to use the second resource to receive inter user equipment (inter-UE) coordination information from a second wireless device. The first wireless device receives, from the second wireless device and based on the determining, the inter-UE coordination information indicating a set of third resources for one or more third sidelink transmissions by the first wireless device.
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a first wireless device, a radio resource control (RRC) message configuring a time period and a counter value for counting the number of negative acknowledgements (NACKs) corresponding to a first sidelink transmission;
transmitting, to a second wireless device, the first sidelink transmission via a first resource, wherein the first sidelink transmission comprises a field indicating resource reservation of a second resource for a second sidelink transmission by the first wireless device;
based on an absence of an acknowledgement (ACK) corresponding to the first sidelink transmission within the time period, determining to use the second resource to receive inter user equipment (inter-UE) coordination information from the second wireless device, wherein the absence of the ACK indicates receiving a NACK corresponding to the first sidelink transmission; and
receiving, from the second wireless device via the second resource and based on the determining, the inter-UE coordination information indicating a set of third resources for one or more third sidelink transmissions by the first wireless device, wherein the receiving of the inter-UE coordination information is based on the absence of the ACK and the number of NACKs, corresponding to the first sidelink transmission within the time period.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first sidelink transmission comprises sidelink control information (SCI).
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the SCI comprises the field indicating the resource reservation of the second resource.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second wireless device is an intended receiver of the first sidelink transmission.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving of the inter-UE coordination information is based on the counter value.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the absence of the ACK indicates not receiving feedback corresponding to the first sidelink transmission.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second wireless device is an intended receiver of the one or more third sidelink transmissions.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving, from the second wireless device, the inter-UE coordination information via the second resource.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second wireless device is
an unintended receiver of the first sidelink transmission.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second wireless device is
an unintended receiver of the one or more third sidelink transmissions.
11 . A first wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the first wireless device to:
receive a radio resource control (RRC) message configuring a time period and a counter value for counting the number of negative acknowledgements (NACKs) corresponding to a first sidelink transmission;
transmit, to a second wireless device, the first sidelink transmission via a first resource, wherein the first sidelink transmission comprises a field indicating resource reservation of a second resource for a second sidelink transmission by the first wireless device;
based on an absence of an acknowledgement (ACK) corresponding to the first sidelink transmission within the time period, determine to use the second resource to receive inter user equipment (inter-UE) coordination information from the second wireless device, wherein the absence of the ACK indicates receiving a NACK corresponding to the first sidelink transmission; and
receive, from the second wireless device via the second resource and based on the determining, the inter-UE coordination information indicating a set of third resources for one or more third sidelink transmissions by the first wireless device, wherein the receiving of the inter-UE coordination information is based on the absence of the ACK and the number of NACKs, corresponding to the first sidelink transmission within the time period.
12 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the first sidelink transmission comprises sidelink control information (SCI).
13 . The first wireless device of claim 12 , wherein the SCI comprises the field indicating the resource reservation of the second resource.
14 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the second wireless device is an intended receiver of the first sidelink transmission.
15 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the receiving of the inter-UE coordination information is based on the counter value.
16 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the absence of the ACK indicates not receiving feedback corresponding to the first sidelink transmission.
17 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the second wireless device is an intended receiver of the one or more third sidelink transmissions.
18 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the instructions further cause the first wireless device to receive, from the second wireless device, the inter-UE coordination information via the second resource.
19 . The first wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the second wireless device is
an unintended receiver of the first sidelink transmission.
20 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more first processors of a first wireless device, cause the first wireless device to:
receive a radio resource control (RRC) message configuring a time period and a counter value for counting the number of negative acknowledgements (NACKs) corresponding to a first sidelink transmission;
transmit, to a second wireless device, the first sidelink transmission via a first resource, wherein the first sidelink transmission comprises a field indicating resource reservation of a second resource for a second sidelink transmission by the first wireless device;
