Provider determination system, methods for determining providers within a provider network, and methods for providing information related to providers to a user via a communication session
Methods of providing provider information to a client device includes receiving, from a client device, a request for information for a provider within a user's provider network, generating and providing a request for location information; receiving a location response, determining whether a location identified by the location response is currently supported by the provider determination system, generating and providing a provider type request, receiving a provider type response; determining whether there are providers within the user's provider network that match both the location identified in the location response and a provider type identified in the provider type response, generating and providing a provider list, receiving a provider selection response selecting a provider from the provider list, generating and providing a provider information message including information related to the selected provider.
1 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
receiving, from a client device, a low-data message comprising unstructured natural language including a request for information for a provider within a user's provider network, wherein the user's provider network is a user's insurance provider network;
analyzing the request for information via natural language processing to determine a meaning of the request for information;
providing a request for location information and a provider type request to the client device based, at least in part, on the determined meaning of the request for information;
determining a provider specialty based on the provider type response;
generating one or more queries based, at least in part, on query parameters including the provider specialty and a user location, the query parameters based, at least in part, on the provider type response and the location response;
identifying one or more providers within the user's provider network that match both a location identified in the location response and a provider type identified in the provider type response via the one or more queries;
generating a provider list and provide the provider list to the client device.
2 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
generating a provider information response including information related to the selected provider and an option to initiate an action in relation to the selected provider responsive to receiving a provider selection selecting a provider from the provider list.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein initiating the action related to the selected provider comprises at least one of initiating a telephone call with the selected provider, initiating a communication session with the selected provider, scheduling an appointment with the selected provider, or forwarding the provider information to another client device.
4 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein providing a request for location information and a provider type request comprises generating the request for location information and the provider type request to match a communication type of the inquiry.
5 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein providing a request for location information and a provider type request comprises generating the request for location information and the provider type request via a natural language generation system.
6 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein receiving the request for information comprises receiving at least one of an SMS message, an audio message, a video message, an email message, or a messenger message.
7 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein receiving the request for information comprises receiving the request for information from a third-party system at a provider determination system.
8 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
in response to receiving the request for information, generating a request for location information; and
sending request for location information to client device.
9 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
receiving, from the client device, a location response;
identifying a location indicated in the location response as a query parameter; and
determining whether a location identified by the location response is currently supported by a provider determination system.
10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
in response to determining that the location is currently supported by the provider determination system, generating a provider type request; and
sending the provider type request to the client device.
11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
receiving, from the client device, a provider type response;
identifying a provider type indicated in the provider type response as a query parameter; and
determining, via one or more queries of a provider database, whether there are providers within the user's provider network that match both the location identified in the location response and a provider type identified in the provider type response.
12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
in response to identifying one or more providers that match both the location identified in the location response and the provider type identified in the provider type response, generating a provider list;
sending the provider list to the client device;
receiving, from the client device, a provider selection response selecting a provider from the provider list;
in response to receiving the provider selection response, generating a provider information response including information related to the selected provider; and
sending the provider information response to the client device.
13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein determining whether there are providers within a user's provider network that match the location identified in the location response comprises determining whether there are providers within a radius of one of five, ten, twenty-five, fifty, or one hundred miles from the location.
14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein analyzing the request for information comprises analyzing the request for information via a natural language process comprising at least one machine learning technique.
15 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the instructions when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:
identifying the user's provider network based on one of a unique identifier of a user or a provider determination system identifier to which the request for information is sent.
16 . A method of accessing a provider directory comprising:
receiving, from a client device, a low data message comprising unstructured natural language including a request for information for a provider within a user's provider network, wherein the user's provider network is a user's insurance provider network;
analyzing the request for information via natural language processing to determine a meaning of the request for information;
based on the determined meaning of the request for information, providing a request for location information and provider type request to the client device;
determining a provider specialty based on the provider type response;
responsive to receiving a location response and a provider type response, generating queries based, at least in part, on query parameters including at least one of the provider's specialty or location, the query parameters identified in the determined meaning of the request for information and the matched communication category;
submitting the queries to a provider database to identify one or more providers that match the generated query parameters and determine whether the desired location is within a supported geographical area; and
providing information related to the one or more providers to the client device.
17 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
receiving a provider selection of a provider from the provider list from the client device;
providing provider information corresponding to provider selected from the provider list;
receiving an indication from the client device to initiate the action related to the selected provider; and
initiating the action related to the selected provider.
18 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
determining whether the provider network includes a provider that matches both of the desired specialty of a provider and the desired location;
generating a notice message to notify the user that the provider network does not include providers matching the desired specialty of the provider and the desired location;
provide the notice to the client device.
19 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising identifying the user's provider network based on one of a unique identifier of a user or a provider determination system identifier to which the request for information is sent.
20 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
in response to determining that the location is currently supported by the provider determination system, generating a provider type request; and
sending the provider type request to the client device.
