Abstract

A convertible bar and table assembly for provision of coffee table and bar functions includes a housing which is elongate cuboid shaped. A first plate is hingedly attached to a rear is hingable between stowed configuration, wherein the first plate covers an opening in a top of the housing and a deployed configuration, wherein it extends from the housing substantially coplanarly with the rear. A stemware rack, which is pivotally attached to the first plate distal from the rear, retains items of stemware so that they pivot concurrently with hinging of the first plate. A second plate, which is attached to and which extends perpendicularly from the first plate proximate to the rear of the housing, substantially covers the opening with the first plate in the deployed configuration. Bulbs attached to the stemware rack selectively illuminate the items of stemware.
