Claims (6)

1 . A method of treating chronic kidney disease, except for a disease selected from the group consisting of diabetic kidney disease and diabetic nephropathy, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula [II]:

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

2 . A method of treating chronic kidney disease unaccompanied by hyperglycemia, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula [II]:

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the chronic kidney disease unaccompanied by hyperglycemia is chronic kidney disease associated with hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia, or immunological or inflammatory disease.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the chronic kidney disease unaccompanied by hyperglycemia is chronic kidney disease associated with immunological or inflammatory disease, wherein the immunological or inflammatory disease is a disease selected from the group consisting of chronic tubulointerstitial nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, idiopathic crescentic glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy, embranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, membranous nephropathy, amyloidosis, anti-GBM disease, Goodpasture's syndrome, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, hemolytic-uremic syndrome, mixed cryoglobulinemia, postinfectious glomerulonephritis, systemic erythematosus, autosomal dominant interstitial kidney disease, medullary cystic kidney, hereditary nephritis, Alport's syndrome, nail-patella syndrome, and polycystic kidney disease.
