Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for operating in a wireless communication system which supports SoftV2X communication, the method comprising the operations of: receiving status information including sensor values of a second apparatus; and transmitting information about a road hazard situation detected on the basis of the sensor values, wherein the road hazard situation is detected on the basis of 1) change amounts between a first point in time at which change amounts of the sensor values are greater than a threshold and a second point in time at which the change amounts are back to or below the threshold, and 2) the similarity between the sensor values before the first point in time and after the second point in time.

Claims (17)

1 . A second apparatus supporting vehicle to everything (V2X) communication, the second apparatus comprising:

at least one transceiver;

at least one processor; and

at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and storing programs that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

storing a plurality of sensor values V t1 , V t1+Δt , V t1+2Δt , . . . , V t2−Δt , V t2−Δt , V t2 respectively obtained at a plurality of time points t1, t1+Δt, t1+2Δt, . . . t2−2Δt, t2−Δt, t2 from a first time point t1 to a second time point t2, based on a difference V t1+Δt −V t1 between a sensor value V t1 at the first time point and a sensor value V t1+Δt at a time point t1+Δt following the first time point t1 being larger than a threshold value T, and based on a difference V t2+Δt −V t2 between a sensor value V t2 at the second time point t2 and a sensor value V t2+Δt at a time point t2+Δt following the second time point t2 being less than the threshold value T, wherein V t is a sensor value at a time point t, where t=t1, t1+Δt, t1+2Δt, . . . , t2−2Δt, t2−Δt, t2, and Δt is a sensing periodicity;

determining that a hazard situation has occurred on a road, based on a similar pattern of sensor values to that of the stored plurality of sensor values V t1 , V t1+Δt , V t1+2Δt , . . . , V t2−2Δt , V t2−Δt , V t2 being detected on the road after the second time point t2; and

transmitting event information regarding the hazard situation detected by the second apparatus to a first apparatus.

2 . The second apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise:

receiving updated information regarding the hazard situation on the road from the first apparatus.

3 . The second apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the updated information regarding the hazard situation on the road includes at least information for identifying the hazard situation, information indicating a type of the hazard situation, information on a time at which the hazard situation is detected, information indicating a zone in which the hazard situation is detected, or information indicating a type of the zone.

4 . A method performed by a second apparatus, the method comprising:

storing a plurality of sensor values V t1 , V t1+Δt , V t1+2Δt , . . . , V t2−2Δt , V t2−Δt , V t2 respectively obtained at a plurality of time points t1, t1+Δt, t1+2Δt, . . . t2−2Δt, t2−Δt, t2 from a first time point t1 to a second time point t2, based on a difference V t1+Δt −V t1 between a sensor value V t1 at the first time point and a sensor value V t1+Δt at a time point t1+Δt following the first time point t1 being larger than a threshold value T, and based on a difference V t2+Δt −V t2 between a sensor value V t2 at the second time point t2 and a sensor value V t2+Δt at a time point t2+Δt following the second time point t2 being less than the threshold value T, wherein V t is a sensor value at a time point t, where t=t1, t1+Δt, t1+2Δt, . . . , t2−2Δt, t2−Δt, t2, and Δt is a sensing periodicity;

determining that a hazard situation has occurred on a road, based on a similar pattern of sensor values to that of the stored plurality of sensor values V t1 , V t1+Δt , V t1+2Δt , . . . , V t2−2Δt , V t2−Δt , V t2 being detected on the road after the second time point t2; and

transmitting event information regarding the hazard situation detected by the second apparatus to a first apparatus.

5 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising:

receiving updated information regarding the hazard situation on the road from the first apparatus.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the updated information regarding the hazard situation on the road includes at least information for identifying the hazard situation, information indicating a type of the hazard situation, information on a time at which the hazard situation is detected, information indicating a zone in which the hazard situation is detected, or information indicating a type of the zone.
