Abstract

A system, method, device, and platform for managing content utilizing tokens from a data platform. Providing an incentive for a user to generate content. The content is received from the user. The content is tokenized into one or more tokens. The tokenized content is distributed. The tokenized content is monetized based on a smart contract.

Claims (56)

1 . A method for managing content utilizing tokens from a data platform, comprising:

providing an incentive for a user to generate content according to a smart contract, wherein the smart contract governs how tokenized content is utilized and monetized;

presenting a user interface configured to allow the user to select one or more monetization strategies for the tokenized content according to the smart contract and permissions;

automatically receiving the content generated by the user, the content is saved in one or more storages of the data platform;

determining whether the content includes user information including personally identifiable information;

deidentifying the user information from the content generated by the user according to the smart contract to generate deidentified content to protect the privacy of the user;

tokenizing the deidentified content into one or more tokens utilizing a data refinery of the data platform;

determining a monetization level for the tokenized content based on one or more characteristics of the data;

distributing the tokenized content for monetization, wherein the tokenized content is selectively accessible to one or more authorized parties based on the permissions defined in the smart contract;

monetizing the tokenized content based on the smart contract; and

compensating the user utilizing the smart contract based on the incentive for the monetization of the tokenized content.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated content are saved in a digital ledger.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content is received from a plurality of electronic sources associated with the data platform, and wherein the content includes at least video or images.

4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

valuing the content based on the characteristics of the data including at least source reliability, content type, or deidentification level;

determining potential monetization strategies for the tokenized content;

presenting the monetization strategies to the user through a user interface; and

presenting the user interface for communicating the tokenized content to one or more authorized parties.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the monetization strategies include at least selling the tokenized content and leasing the tokenized content to the one or more authorized parties.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the incentive is cryptocurrency.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the user uploads the content from one of a plurality of electronic devices executing an application that interfaces with the data platform.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

compensating the user based on terms negotiated between the user and a service provider operating the data platform in response to the creating the smart contract controlling utilization of the content.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating each of the one or more tokens associated with the tokenized content.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

advertising the content to the one or more authorized parties; and

performing transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the tokenized content.

11 . A system for managing content, comprising:

a plurality of electronic devices executing a data application, the data application is configured to capture the user data associated with a user; and

a data platform accessible by the plurality of electronic devices executing the data application through one or more networks, wherein the data platform provides an incentive for a user to generate content according to a smart contract, wherein a user interface is configured to allow the user to select how the smart contract governs how tokenized content is utilized and monetized including permissions, automatically receives the content generated by the user, determines whether the content includes user information including personally identifiable information, deidentifies the user information from the content generated by the user according to the smart contract to generate deidentified content to protect the privacy of the user, tokenizes the deidentified content into one or more tokens utilizing a data refinery, determines a monetization level for the tokenized content based on one or more characteristics of the data, distributes the tokenized content for monetization, monetizes the tokenized content based on the smart contract, wherein the tokenized content is selectively accessible to one or more authorized parties based on the permission defined in the smart contract, and compensates the user based on the incentive for the monetization of the tokenized content.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the data platform values the tokenized content, determines potential monetization strategies for the tokenized content, presents the monetization strategies to the user, and performs transactions for the tokenized content.

13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated tokenized content are saved in a digital ledger.

14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the incentive is cryptocurrency, and wherein the user is compensated for the tokenized content utilizing the cryptocurrency.

15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the data platform further:

communicates information for a user interface to present the tokenized content to one or more authorized parties; and

processes payment for purchase of the tokenized content from at least one of the one or more authorized parties.

16 . A data platform, comprising:

a processor for executing a set of instructions;

a memory for storing the set of instructions, wherein the set of instructions are executed to:

provide an incentive for a user to generate content according to a smart contract, wherein the smart contract governs how tokenized content is utilized and monetized;

present a user interface configured to allow the user to select one or more monetization strategies for the tokenized content according to the smart contract and permissions;

automatically receive the content generated by the user, the content is saved in one or more storages of the data platform, the content includes at least one or more images or videos;

tokenize the content generated by the user into one or more tokens utilizing a data refinery;

determine a monetization level for the tokenized content based on one or more characteristics of the data;

presenting a user interface for presenting the tokenized content to one or more authorized parties;

distribute the tokenized content for monetization, wherein the tokenized content is selectively accessible to one or more authorized parties based on the permissions defined in the smart contract;

monetize the tokenized content in the one or more tokens based on the smart contract; and

compensates the user based on the incentive for the monetization of the tokenized content in the one or more tokens.

17 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions are further executed to:

value the tokenized content based on the characteristics of the data including at least source reliability, content type, or deidentification level, determine potential monetization strategies for the tokenized content, present the monetization strategies to the user, and perform transactions for the tokenized content with the one or more authorized parties.

18 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein private user information is removed from the tokenized content to protect the privacy of the user, wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated tokenized content are saved in a digital ledger.

19 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions generate each of the one or more tokens associated with the content, advertise the tokenized content to the one or more authorized parties, and perform transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the tokenized content with the one or more authorized parties.

20 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions are further executed to:

advertise the tokenized content to the one or more authorized parties; and

perform transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the tokenized content.
