Abstract

A secondary metal-air battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte, an aqueous electrolyte, and a separator, in which the positive electrode is an air electrode, the negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer formed on the negative electrode current collector, the negative electrode mixture layer contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of lithium metal, magnesium, zinc, and aluminum, and the separator is a polymer film having an air permeability of more than 10,000 seconds/100 mL, an ionic conductance of 1×10 −5 S/cm or more, and a water contact angle of 90° or more.

Claims (25)

1 . A secondary metal-air battery comprising:

a positive electrode;

a negative electrode;

a nonaqueous electrolyte;

an aqueous electrolyte; and

a separator,

wherein the positive electrode is an air electrode,
