Carrier aggregation using component carrier groups
Presented are systems and methods for configuring component carrier groups. A wireless communication device may determine a first reference signal associated with a second reference signal. The wireless communication device may determine information of a target signal in a first component carrier (CC) according to the first reference signal. The second reference signal may be in a second CC in an activated beam state.
1 . A method, comprising:
receiving, by a wireless communication device, a beam state list comprising a beam state of a target signal in a first component carrier (CC), via a first radio resource control (RRC) signaling in a second CC;
determining, by the wireless communication device, the second CC as a reference CC according to a second RRC signaling which indicates an index of the second CC;
determining, by the wireless communication device, a first reference signal in the first CC based on a reference signal (RS) identifier in the beam state of the beam state list that is configured in the second CC;
determining, by the wireless communication device, first information of the target signal in the first CC according to the first reference signal;
receiving, by the wireless communication device, a first command comprising an identifier of the beam state activated or indicated from the beam state list;
determining, by the wireless communication device, based on the first command, that the beam state is applicable to the target signal in the first CC; and
communicating, by the wireless communication device, the target signal in the first CC using the beam state.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining, by the wireless communication device, that the beam state is applicable to the target signal in a CC list including the first CC.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first information includes a beam.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the target signal includes at least one of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), or a sounding reference signal (SRS).
5 . A wireless communication device, comprising:
at least one processor configured to:
receive, via a receiver, a beam state list comprising a beam state of a target signal in a first component carrier (CC), via a first radio resource control (RRC) signaling in a second CC;
determine the second CC as a reference CC according to a second RRC signaling which indicates an index of the second CC;
determine a first reference signal in the first CC based on a reference signal (RS) identifier in the beam state of the beam state list that is configured in the second CC;
determine first information of the target signal in the first CC according to the first reference signal;
receive a first command comprising an identifier of the beam state activated or indicated from the beam state list;
determine, based on the first command, that the beam state is applicable to the target signal in the first CC; and
communicate the target signal in the first CC using the beam state.
6 . The wireless communication device of claim 5 , wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
determine that the beam state is applicable to the target signal in a CC list including the first CC.
7 . The wireless communication device of claim 5 , wherein the first information includes a beam.
8 . The wireless communication device of claim 5 , wherein the target signal includes at least one of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), or a sounding reference signal (SRS).
