Abstract

The black bus electrode of plasma display panel is formed from a conductive composition comprising a conductive powder, glass powder, organic binder, organic solvent, and black pigment, wherein the conductive powder is coated with metal selected from the group of Ru, Rh, Pd, Os, Ir, Pt and Au.

Claims (10)

1. A conductive composition for a black bus electrode for plasma display, comprising a conductive powder, glass powder, organic binder, organic solvent, and black pigment, wherein the conductive powder is an inorganic powder coated with metal selected from the group of Ru, Rh, Pd, Os, Ir, Pt and Au, wherein the content of the conductive powder is 0.1 to 5 wt %, the content of the glass powder is 10 to 50 wt %, and the content of the black pigment is 6 to 20 wt %, based on the total amount of the composition.

2. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 1 , wherein the inorganic powder is metal or alloy.

3. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 2 , wherein the inorganic powder is silver powder or silver powder covered with a metal.

4. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 1 , wherein the inorganic powder is non-metallic powder or non-metallic powder covered with a metal.

5. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 4 , wherein the inorganic powder is silica powder.

6. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 1 , wherein said metal is Au.

7. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 1 , wherein a mean particle diameter (PSD D50) of the conductive powder is 0.1 to 5 μm.

8. The conductive composition for a black bus electrode according to claim 1 , comprising Co 3 O 4 (tricobalt tetroxide) as the black pigment.

9. A front panel of a plasma display panel on which bus electrodes are formed, wherein the bus electrodes have a black-and-white double-layered structure comprising a black electrode and a white electrode, and the black electrode comprises the composition of claim 1 .

10. A front panel of a plasma display panel on which bus electrodes are formed, wherein the bus electrodes have a black-and-white double-layered structure comprising a black electrode and a white electrode, and the black electrode comprises a conductive particle, the surface of which being coated with metal selected from the group of Ru, Rh, Pd, Os, Ir, Pt and Au as a conductive component.
