within the first period of time, generating a third signal using the motion sensor;

determining, based at least in part on the third signal, that the motion sensor detected second motion; and

based at least in part on the motion sensor detecting the second motion, causing the light source to continue to emit the light for a second period of time.

10. The electronic device as recited in claim 9 , the memory storing further instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform further operations comprising:

determining that the second period of time has elapsed; and

based at least in part on the second period of time having elapsed, causing the light source to cease emitting the light.

11. The electronic device as recited in claim 9 , the memory storing further instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform further operations comprising sending, using the wireless communication interface, a fourth signal to an additional electronic device, the fourth signal representing an instruction to activate.

12. The electronic device as recited in claim 9 , the memory storing further instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform further operations comprising:

causing the light source to cease emitting the light;

receiving, using the wireless communication interface, a fourth signal from the camera device or an additional electronic device; and

based at least in part on receiving the fourth signal, causing the light source to emit additional light.

13. The electronic device as recited in claim 9 , the memory storing further instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform further operations comprising sending, using the wireless communication interface and to an additional electronic device, data indicating that the first motion was detected.
