Methods and compositions for the treatment of hair loss

1. A pharmaceutical composition for use in growing hair wherein the composition's active agents consist of latanoprost and minoxidil.

2. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the pharmaceutical composition grows hair in patients suffering from hair loss disorders.

3. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the pharmaceutical composition grows hair in patients suffering from androgenetic alopecia.

4. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the pharmaceutical composition further comprises one selected from the group consisting of polysorbate 60, oleyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol.

5. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the pharmaceutical composition further comprises one selected from the group consisting of polyethylene lauryl alcohol, diethethylene glycol monoethyl ether and polyethylene glycol.

6. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises 30%-60% w/v propylene glycol.

7. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises 10%-20% w/v propanediol.

8. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises 20%-40% w/v ethanol.

9. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises 0.1%-10% w/v diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.

10. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises 0.1%-3% w/v oleyl alcohol.

11. A pharmaceutical composition for use in growing hair wherein the composition's active agents consist of latanoprost and minoxidil and further comprising propylene glycol.

12. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 further comprising water.

13. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 further comprising propanediol.

14. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 further comprising ethanol.

15. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 wherein the composition comprises 0.01-0.10% w/v latanoprost and 10-60% w/v propylene glycol.

16. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 wherein the composition comprises 0.01-0.08% w/v latanoprost and 10-60% w/v propylene glycol.

17. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 11 wherein the composition comprises 1-6% w/v minoxidil and 10-60% w/v propylene glycol.

18. A pharmaceutical composition for use in growing hair wherein the composition's active agents consist of latanoprost and minoxidil and further comprising diethylene glycol monoethyl ether.

19. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 18 further comprising one selected from the group consisting of polyethylene lauryl alcohol and polyethylene glycol.

20. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 18 further comprising oleyl alcohol.
